I needed a 240V outlet installed for my Tesla for home charging. Of all the companies I reached out to, Zel had the best price and all the positive reviews were reassuring so I hired them. They responded quickly and were able to schedule an appointment within two days. Henry showed up and was on time, friendly and professional, and he did a great job. Very easy to work with, payment was simple, and there was no hassle. I was so nervous about hiring an electrician from Yelp but I'm happy to say that the reviews were spot on and the experience exceeded my expectations. I will definitely hire again if I need an electrician.

I typically don't write reviews (shame on me), but I feel compelled to share how great my experience was with Zel Electric. Henry responded to my request for a quote in minutes, and it didn't take long for him to breakdown the pricing, what I should expect, timing for completion, etc. On the day of the install, he called to inform me that he would be a few hours early (how dare he), and that he hoped that wouldn't be an inconvenience. It wasn't. He arrived promptly and I showed him to the location where I wanted the charger to be installed. He said okay, and proceeded to do work. It couldn't have been more than 15 mins later, that he knocked on my door and told me he was finished. Sure enough, there was the charger, connected up and ready to go. I highly recommend Zel Electric (Henry specifically), and will be reaching out to them for any future needs.

Look no further! We initially found them through the Tesla website as a preferred Tesla Certified Electrician in our area. After reading their great reviews on Yelp we reached out to them for a quote. They were very responsive, reasonably priced, transparent with pricing and per our request pulled the necessary permits needed. They were also present for the inspection- all included in the quote they gave us-no surprise add on fees. The installation was smooth, professional, clean and quick. I highly recommend Zel Electric!

I needed my electrical panel upgraded to 200A. German and his crew pulled the permit, contacted the electric company so they could approve the location of the replacement box, and did an outstanding job with the installation. Everyone was very professional and friendly, and they cleaned up after they finished everyday.

If you are going to have your panel upgraded, you should know that it will take a bit of time. Getting the location approved by the electric company took almost two weeks because their tech for our area was on vacation. It also took a couple of visits by the city office to get the permit signed off: they need to inspect the initial work and then inspect again after the stucco is replaced. German was with me every step of the way and always kept me advised about the progress of the project.

I completely recommend Zel electric, and will use them again for my future electrical needs.

This is the 2nd time I've hired this company. This time it was to install recessed lighting. Not only was it so easy to work with Henry but he gave very fair prices and was able to schedule me quickly. Henry and his assistant were friendly, professional and quite obliging. They installed recessed lighting in 3 rooms, including smart home switches that I purchased separately. Henry was also able to give me different options to control my existing fan separately and installed a wall switch that made everything look so much cleaner. Everything works great and I am thrilled with the outcome. These guys know what they are doing and really look out for their customer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Reached out to Zel electric to get a quote for installing a 240v outlet for my EV. Henry was very prompt in response and after a few messages and quotes from other vendors, I decided to go with Zel. Henry was very clear with the work involved and the quote breakdown, which I did not see from other vendors. We decided on a day and Henry showed up right on time, got to installing immediately and was extremely clean with his work. Couldn't be any happier with Henry's work.

German and his team was great. I originally planned to have 14 or so recessed lights but after seeing the results and how speedy they were, I asked for an additional 10 throughout the house. They also installed switches and a new outlet in collaboration with a networking group to get the internet installed.

They came on short notice, great price for recessed light installation, and followed up when there were some concerns at no extra cost to them.

Would recommend them again for additional help in the future.

UPDATE 4/5/2022 - Hired them again to do more canless lights in all the rooms throughout the house. Awesome guys.

They also patched the holes they made.
