I did not hire Emmet because it took over 2 weeks for him to give me the estimate, and I already awarded the work to someone else, but I was impressed with his professionalism and honesty when he came over to my house to review the job. He provided options and indicated what would be the lowest cost, and gave advice about what kind of equipment to purchase. His estimate was reasonable, unforunately a little too late. I guess I caught him when he was really busy. He was apologetic and offered to free up time for me. I would consider using him in the future.

Emmet was fabulous-- he was quick to communicate, gave a very fair price for his work, fixed a lot of problems that another guy made, left my sub panel in incredible order (it looked like a piece of wire art) and finished early. I would certainly hire him again!

I am so grateful to Emmet! Our power went out this afternoon - we flipped a switch in the garage, heard a thudding noise, and the whole house went dark. The circuit breakers seemed to be fine, which made us concerned that something might be seriously wrong. When I called Emmet to ask if he could come over to take a look, he talked with me to determine whether the problem was local or with PG&E, asked questions about the electrical box, and figured out what was wrong (although the circuit breakers seemed like they were in the right position, it turned out that we had to flip them back and forth a few times to restore power). We really appreciate Emmet's generosity in sharing his professional expertise free of charge, and will definitely contact him if we have electrical issues in the future!

I really did not want to write this review because I always try to use small local services. I've used Emmett for some work in the past and he did an acceptable job, but he's blown me off on more than one occasion now. I think the only reason he returned my call this time was because I ""butt dialed"" him. Until then I received no return call from a call I made two days earlier. so we made an appointment for him to come to my house in a couple of days. I made a special effort to be there in plenty of time. He never showed, never called. Apparently he does not want to do work for me. I've always paid at the time of service and am polite and cordial with him. I have no idea what I did to cause this childish behavior but I certainly will not be calling him again

Went to their website, filled out the information for their free quote, got a automated response saying they were reviewing my request. Never heard back from them. Sent 2 follow up emails. That was over a 3 week period. If this is their response time and level of courtesy, I think I'll try somewhere else.

Emmett has installed appliances for me several times now. Absolutely no complaints here. He is always friendly, reliable, and he really knows his stuff. I trust Emmett because I know he's a licensed electrician and his work just speaks for itself.

A lot of homeowners nowadays think that cheaper is better. Don't get stuck with shoddy work because some sketchy electrician charges less. Go with someone who is accredited like Emmett. It will save you a lot of trouble in the end!

Emmett at Zediker Electric is the best! He is quick, knowledgeable, and affordable. He knows all the code and safety requirements, and is honest and flexible in communicating your options. After giving me a bid, he found that some of the problems with my wiring weren't as bad as we expected, so he actually lowered the price--how often does that happen? I recommended him to my Realtor.

We had a terrible experience with Emmett. We found out we had a problem with his work in August. He didn't want to fix it at all (even though it was his mistake), but he finally agreed. However, each time we made an appt. for him to do the work, he cancelled with a new excuse each time. He finally fixed it 6 months later. He wasted a lot of our time for something that took him a half a day to do. If he was up on the current PGE regulations this problem would not of happened in the first place.
