When ""Emmett "" came out he had another person with him that he appeared to be training. He was here for only a matter of minutes. Told my husband that the lights in the backyard was tripping the switch and the smell we smelled inside the house was from too many air fresheners and they were competing with the ozone...really!
Come to find out, one of our ceiling fans had gone out; the motor burned up and was very well caused by y the wiring.
A total waste of time and money.

If zero stars were available that's what they'd get! Called to make an appointment for my kitchen light fixture to be switched out...Spoke with him, he was to call me back (Emmit) he never called! Thumbs down! Oh and I got my fixture changed!

After an acquaintance's apartment caught on fire due to faulty wiring, I thought it would be a good idea to have my house checked out by a pro just in case. It has been a while anyway.
Emmett came by and took a look at what was needed. He offered various options on how we could proceed. He did suggest that i replace my circuit breaker and the conduit on top of my house. He also brought up a much larger job of rewiring my 70 year old house (not sure when the last rewiring was), but wasn't pushy on it saying it was still safe to use.
Since these were both fairly expensive jobs, I discussed it with my friends and family, and when they all agreed about the dangers of having a rusty circuit box, I decided to go for it.
Communication with Emmett was easy and prompt. He made his work clear for me to understand and what to expect. He worked for a better part of a day on my house and it looks great! I'm very glad I went with Zediker and will consider him again if I decide to rewire the house or any other electrical jobs.

I am the property manager of an apartment building in Oakland. Needed a new electrician since our electrician we had retired. Was referred to Zediker Electric by Happy Handyman, the handyman company we use.

Zediker Electric, got the job done! Was able to make an appointment for the same week I called. Had to have a ceiling light and the light switch replaced, as well as an outlet for the oven for one of the tenants. Was able to get the job done in a timely manner.

Zediker Electric was reasonably priced, punctual, friendly and explained everything clearly.
