I have used Zed Electric several times for our business now and every time I can't say enough good things about them. They are timely, very professional and reasonable. This past time, a bit of an emergency on the weekend and I received a call from the owner, we got things sorted out and I was taken care of ASAP. All of the technicians that have come out for various repairs and other work have been super knowledgable, professional and hardworking. Their Customer service, start to finish was incredible.

Over the course of a number of years, I have hired ZED Electric for larger scale and smaller scale work in my home. I have met not only the electricians who are in the field, but also the office staff. In my view, each employee at ZED ( and I'm particularly focusing on the electricians) has a professional attitude, interacts with a sense of professional conduct, and good judgment, and is courteous, reliable, trustworthy, responsible, timely, skillful, competent, and diligent. The billing has been consistent and has not exceeded initial quotes. I appreciate the quality of the work, and the respectful and friendly manner of the various electricians and support staff. Rob B

We've used Zed Electric since 2007 when we needed some small electrical work done on our condo. In 2016 we purchased an older home and Zed has been our go-to electrician for all of our electrical needs. Dave and his team are honest, reliable, and always make sure the electric is up to code. The work completed includes: grounding all of the outlets in the house, removing and adding light fixtures and outlets, updating both the sub and main electrical panels, installing bathroom and ceiling fans, installing a whole house fan, and upgrading our home from 100 to 200 amps. Every electrician we've worked with from Zed has shown up on schedule and been pleasant to work with. It is hard to find reliable professionals so having an electrical company that we can trust makes all the difference.

Called this am to see if I could get a new thermostat. Gal on the phone was NO help and had NO idea what she was takling about. I told her I have a floor heater and it is working fine, I just need a new thermostat. She said is it gas or electric? I told her it is a gas heater, she said we don't deal with gas and maybe I should call the person who put the thermostat in before. Well, I said the house was built in 1952, who do you suppose I should call. Thanks Mark Maynard for the referrel, but no thanks this is not a company I will work with nor refer. I too own a company and having someone who answeres the phone should either know what they are talking about or get somone who does. First bad review I have written in 5 years. Only 0ne star,at least she was polite.

Good electrical work, bad pricing compared to alternatives. I used them previously a couple years ago for a new outlet on one side of vanity as well as a small wiring job. The electrician they sent was professional and competent. He had to wire through the attic but did so with minimal dry wall damage which was appreciated. At the time, it was about $300 to get the outlet installed (I do think I charged an extra half hour or so because of a ""break"" the electrician took.)

Regardless, I was happy with the service so when we needed similar work done in our new home along with a couple dimmer switches installed, we decided to contact them again. What a huge waste of time. First, we had to make an appt to have someone come give an estimate and then wait several days for an estimate to come back. When we got the estimate back, it was almost $700!! This seemed pretty unreasonable for a new outlet (regardless of how complicated the wiring be) and a couple dimmer switches so I contacted several other places for estimates. I was provided estimates/responses immediately and HALF the price. And all had availability within the week for the job - no coming for an estimate and then sending estimate later, all to have to reschedule an appt for them to come back to do the actual. Sorry, but nobody has time for that - if you have a real job. But maybe the people that can actually afford the work at ZED don't have to work...

Anyway, in short, believe their electrical work is solid but could definitely improve customer service, availability and pricing.

An electrician from Zed cam to our home this morning on short notice to do some work that was beyond what our handyman could handle. The office employee was very helpful about squeezing us in, and let us know when the electrician was on the way. The electrician was top notch and did an excellent job for us. We've used Zed many times over the years--- we've had great service and fair prices in every case.

Zed electric is amazing!! we had a huge job that was needed on our 1963 house. rewiring the entire house, panel upgrade, exterior lights installed. new switches through out our home. Not only are the team at Zed professional, they are timely, friendly and fulfilled everything they had promised and beyond. Even after the job was done I had called them on many occasions with questions. They AWAYS took my calls and answered all my questions. They are reasonably priced and just sooooo good!! If you need an electrician, look no further. Give them a call, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
