ZED Electric was highly recommended to us by other industry professionals and they did not disappoint. The quality of their work and level of service was truly professional.
We had several electrical updates to conduct in our home, including installation and wiring for an EV charger. They conducted a thorough assessment and gave us a very reasonable estimate for the work. When the technicians arrived (Travis and Sean), it was clear they were subject matter experts, well trained, polite and highly professional. They completed the work on time and within the estimate we had been given (i.e. there were no surprises).
The quality of the work, attention to detail, and the fact that they guarantee their work has earned our trust and our business, and we would highly recommend them to anyone who needs quality electrical services.

They left my job broken and unfinished. after I paid off all of the bills that were about 4 times what they should have been, they continued to demand payment for bills I already paid. they only want to overbill for easy work and abandon you after you overpay and the problems aren't fixed. this is how they left me. after ripping me off for about 3 grand.

A light fixture in a bedroom stopped working. They came out and charged $180 to 'diagnose' the problem, which, with a voltage tester would have taken them less than 10 seconds. They wanted to charge an additional $200+ to install a light fixture - not even providing the fixture. Luckily, I found out about it before they came out to do it, and had my handy-around-the-house hubby do it. Put in a $30 light fixutre in under 5 minutes, and we were done - the only tool required was a screwdriver. The whole job, even if you charged a travel fee and an hour minimum should have been less than the $180 they charged for the 'diagnosis'. I tell everyone I know to avoid them!

This review is long overdue - sorry Zed Electric. We were having issues with a ""ghost"" in the house. The downstairs lights would blink on and off. We called Zed and they fit us in very quickly. When the electrician arrived, he changed out the circuit breaker for the circuit with the blinking lights. We turned on all lights and they didn't appear to be flashing. Woohoo! However, a couple of days after he left, they started blinking again. We called Zed back and they sent another electrician out. He removed some more parts from the circuit board (I apologize if I am not discovering everything correctly). It turns out the bus board had some corrosion on it at that spot. The electrician was able to move that circuit to a new spot and we haven't had a problem since. Since they guarantee their work, they didn't charge us for the second visit. Zed Electric had previously done other work around our house and I have always been impressed with the quality and professionalism.

I searched for a while to find a trustworthy electrician to perform the work I needed done. When I requested a quote they asked for a copy of the inspection report that I had done for my new place and I sent it over. They sent me a quote that was much lower than what I had been quoted elsewhere. I asked if they needed to see the space in person to give a firm estimate they said no. I didn't want to get the work done right away so about 6 months later I emailed back to have them come out and they called me within minutes of sending the email. They scheduled me in right away and Carlos did an amazing job. He was very kind and knowledgeable. It ended up being a bigger job than anticipated but the quote never changed. I would highly recommend them. THANK YOU!

Another great find from Yelp. We hired Zed to fix multiple electrical issues in our new house and to install outlets and some outdoor lighting (light strip over our garage) and two gate lights.

We scheduled for an estimate where Matt came over for a pandemic safe in-house estimate. Matt said he had been an electrician for over 20-30 years and now only does estimates, but his previous experience really informed him on the scope and cost of work.

We had things we had to fix and then a few wish list items, and Zed kindly broke down line by line how much each thing would cost. We did most of the items on the list, and did some of it ourselves.

Chris came over and installed everything to perfection over about 3 days (this was a bigger job).

We are so happy with the quality of service we received here and will call them up should any electrical issues arise.

Chris from Zed Electric did an amazing job today! He diagnosed and fixed a potentially serious electrical issue and got my lights back up and running. He has serious attention to detail. He also went above and beyond to make sure all the light bulbs were installed and working before leaving. Much appreciated!

Yesterday I called Zed early with an electrical issue in my home, which worried me. (I had not used them previously.) Zed Electric sent an electrician over to my home an hour later. Chris arrived and did a terrific job. He was competent, well-trained, and very nice. He identified and fixed the problem much faster than I'd expected. I would like to recommend Zed wholeheartedly.
