I reached out Corwin to do some work for my mother-in-law as she is updating her kitchen and we all couldn't be happier with the quick response and quality of work. Corwin is very responsive. Because of the heavy rain, some of my electrical wires got burnt. I couldn't open my garage doors and hot water stopped flowing. He called me right after I posted the problem on Yelp. He tried to guide me over the phone to solve the problem by myself. I didn't work. Then we scheduled for 8:30 am on December 26th. He came here on time and solved the problem in one hour. I really like this responsiveness, kindness and professionalism.

I would never recommend this company.

I put in a request for some simple, outdoor wall lights to be replaced. Each needs 2 wires connected and 2 nuts tightened. That's all. I did one of them myself. It took me, a non-professional, 8 minutes.

Corwin responded to my request and quoted me $85 per unit. Or roughly $595 an hour. When I asked for his actual hourly rate, he told me that he wouldn't work for an hourly rate because, and I quote ""if I do it well and efficiently, it wouldn't be fair to me"". Here's a hint for Corwin: when you're working hourly, your EXPECTED to do your work well and efficiently. That's what you've been hired to do.

Here's a pro tip for anyone shopping. When hiring an electrician (or a plumber, or a handyman) NEVER agree to a flat rate. Always insist on an hourly rate. A flate rate is an invitation to be over-charged and the only way you can assure that both you and your service provider are charged and compensated fairly is by paying an hourly rate.
