Mr. Hunt from Zapp Electric came out to give us an estimate for a ceiling fan in our bedroom with a cathedral ceiling. The estimate was very reasonable, and we made an appointment. The two gentlemen who came out were very professional, polite, and found the best way to put in the ceiling fan. They did a great job with cleaning up and even vacuumed the area before they left. They are the best and most efficient contractors we have ever had.

I was referred to Zapp from the Home Depot ProReferral system to install a new range hood and ceiling light in my mom's kitchen before she had guests come to town. At first they were pretty responsive, texting me to confirm my appointment ahead of time. They guys that came out were friendly as well.

I didn't notice until after they had left that the range hood was installed unevenly. The hood itself was a standard 30 inch hood but was only 29.5 inches to account for the 30 inch space. However, the space in my mom's kitchen is 30.5 inches to account for the 30 inch hood. Rather than centering the entire hood, they installed it with a 1-inch gap on one side. Not sure if there were complications during installation due to my mom's old cabinets but none of this was communicated to me during installation.

I called the office and asked to speak to the gentleman that installed it and was told they would get back to me when they were free. A week later, I didn't hear from them so I decided to remove the range hood myself to find that they had used old rusty screws, possibly the ones taken from the old range hood? Not sure if this is standard business practice but for the price I was paying, I expected more professionalism and better quality.

Finally decided to call Pacific Express. Incredibly friendly service! They came out next day and installed the range hood at HALF the price. Marco, who installed it, was very meticulous and covered the entire counter space where he worked so as not to damage anything in the kitchen. He also made sure to center the hood so my OCD eyes would not be bothered. Thanks so much Pacific Express!

Shane and Carlos were outstanding! They took care of our kitchen and bathroom wiring and lighting issues, and cleaned up so well you'd never know there were here! We have another project I'm definitely going to bring them back for. Thrilled our lighting now is fabulous and safe :)

Simply put.....Zapp Electric was excellent, from start to finish! I will absolutely call Zapp Electric for any electrical service needs that I have in the future!
Their customer service was spot on! I made my initial contact with Zapp via Yelp and within 30 minutes I was scheduling a technician to come to my home at a very reasonable and understandable rate.
I was told at the time of scheduling that Zachary (a troubleshooting expert) would be the electrician coming to my home.
I can't say enough about Zachary, he was early to our scheduled appointment, he was courteous, he was100 percent professional, and did I say, that he really is a troubleshooting expert and a fantastic electrician!
I was having problems with our spa tripping the GFCI circuit breaker-this problem came on all of a sudden and without warning making our spa essentially useless and unsafe (for the equipment). Without going into the details, Zachary went above and beyond my expectations while troubleshooting and isolating the problem, he was extremely professional and his electrical knowledge is superb!
Zapp's Officer Manager and Zachary represented Zapp Electric extremely well, I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of electrical services.

Our attic fan went out so we went to Home Depot's ProReferral. They gave us three selections on someone to replace it. Dan Hunt from Zapp responded within hours and was able to send someone out the next day. Both Dan and Shane, the electrician, were great - they answered all our questions - even the dumb ones. Their rates are reasonable (below the average cost of a job), they are the height of professionalism and just the nicest guys. Excellent work - I highly recommend them.

Jeremy and Shane were out at my house on Tuesday and helped me with a variety of electrical projects around my house including adding several new dimmer switches, new LED lights throughout, and putting in a spa electrical outlet in my backyard. They were both very nice, punctual, and knowledgeable and did a great job including cleaning up before leaving! I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do about the new spa outlet and they gave me several ideas to choose from which was appreciated. I thought the price was very fair for everything they did. I will certainly contact Zapp again for me future electrical needs. Thank you!

I got a recommendation from a Facebook group for an electrician. I called him & I was pretty disappointed because he sounded disinterested. Then I called Zapp Electric. Their receptionist was very friendly & helpful. The electricians (Robert & Zach) showed up on time and replaced the lights within an hour. They did an awesome job changing out my kitchen lighting. I highly recommend Zapp and will use them in the future for my electrical needs.

Responsiveness through Yelp was excellent to schedule the appointment and provide initial cost estimates. Zach from Zapp replaced two 30 year old outlets and repaired a switch. He explained what changes were needed and worked quickly to solve the issues. I'd have no hesitation to engage Zapp again.

When my old attic fan died, I bought a new one at Home Depot. I decided I was too old (and lazy?) to climb into the attic to install the fan myself, so I asked Home Depot about installation. They entered my info into a referral program they have. Within a few hours I had two calls. Since Zapp Electric was first, I called them back first. They had someone out the next day for a free estimate. I got the job scheduled and today I have a new attic fan - installed. The two workers were great - very personable and polite. They got right to work and 45 minutes later the old fan was removed, the new fan was installed, and they were leaving with old fan. I now have go-to phone number for electrical issues.

A nice touch is that they not only closed the attic trap-door, but they also took down my ladder and put it away in my garage. Great service!
