I called for some electrical repair work and was told that I would have to wait for two weeks for an electrician to come out. This should have been my first clue. I had an appointment for September 9th at 7:00 am. I was up early and waited for the electrician to arrive at my home and then when 7:30 am arrived, I called the office to find out what happened. I was advised that the one who made the appointment was not in and that a phone call would be made to find out what happened and that I would get a phone call right back. I called back after 30 minutes an no phone call to get a ,""she doesn't come in until 9, so you will have to wait."" I asked about the return phone call and got a ,""oh well"". I am not a happy camper now and I told the young person on the phone that I wanted to cancel my late arrival appointment and then I would find someone else who was more efficient and timely. I received a, ""oh well"" comment from the young person, I believe very strongly in customer service and this place was referred to me by a local contractor, who I let know of my horrible disappointment, after waiting for two weeks, to get this , ""oh well attitude"". I would never give them a positive response and will share with all I know what a horrible experience that I had here.

I was referred to this company by A1 electric. I wanted to get my porch lights working. Zamora electric came out a week from my first call. I figured that was normal time. The man who came out was supposed to arrive between 9am and 2pm. He showed up at 2:10pm. His excuse was he got lost. My wife asked him to check close lights cause they turn off sometimes, thinking maybe the problem was related to the front lights not working. The man said no need cuase he could fix the lights in about two hours if there was no wire damage. He would have to check the attic for any damaged wires and that he would be done no more than two hours. My wife asked him if it could possibly be a light switch in the garage area in which case he said ""oh, we would have to check it out if you agree to the estimate"". She said ok. The estimate came via mail four days later! It was for 240 dollars. I was happy. Seemed a good deal. Two hours of work and of course parts...so I told my wife to sign it. Then Zamora electric called me to schedule a time for the repairs to be done. The day was thursday July 30th between 9am and noon. The repair man showed up at 11:40am and he was done by 11:55am! 15 minutes to fix the problem. And Lo and Behold! It was the very garage switch my wife pointed out! Needless to say, We felt weird about the amount we were charged for 15 minutes. So I called zamora electric and the operator told me they charge 120 dollars for service plus parts and labor at 65 dollars an hour. So I told her then we should have been charged 120 plus a max of 20 dollars labor plus the cost of the switch. So she said she would not cash our check til she spoke with the owner. No one called me back. Instead the cashed our check. We never received a receipt for the breakdown of charges. Instead we only have the original estimate with a stamp ""paid"" for 240 dollars to fix outside lights without any wire damage. All we wanted was someone to call us back and do the right thing. Plus we really wanted our wiring checked out which the repairman did not do. We feel like this company is just another take your money and run business with no regard for integrity and genuine service.
