We are happy to share with you photos of our newly renovated kitchen.

We hired Melvin Zamora and his crew with Zamora Construction.

We removed the wall between our dining room and our kitchen to open up the space, and allow for extra room for prep and cooking. In addition, we had Zamora Construction build a custom-height center island/breakfast counter with a custom step-up, allowing for much-needed extra seating. In addition, Melvin and his crew painted all existing cabinetry white, giving the space a fresh and bright appearance.
We still have to add a couple of small things like bamboo roman shades above the window, and I would like to play around with the placement of various household items, but for now, its fully functioning and BEAUTIFUL.

Melvin Zamora you and your entire crew are just amazing to work with. I can't thank you all enough!

Melvin is a true professional. He shows up on time and does the job! He keeps his worksite clean and organized. He gave my mother a bid for rewiring the electrical in her home, and executed the job without any issues. I highly recommend Melvin for any general contracting you need on the Peninsula!

Zamora Construction is as good as it gets! I had an addition added to my house with an A line roof. The addition has blended so well with the rest of the house it's as if it was always there!. I wanted barn doors to separate two rooms. Melvin constructed custom barn doors and a fireplace mantel to match! I also had my entire house painted, and a deck built. Melvin's attention to detail, knowledge and expertise are bar none. His ability to listen to his customer's needs and execute exactly what you want is one of the reasons he stands apart from others in the industry. He and his team are punctual, courteous and professional. It has been a pleasure working with Melvin and I look forward to working with him in the near future.

Melvin was recommended to me by my friend who he did a remodel for and turned out exceptional. Well Melvin and his crew didn't disappoint! As a matter of fact, they exceeded my expectations. They came into my project that was started by another contractor which is hard to do and did an amazing job! The best decision I made was to contract Melvin. He is easy to talk to, knowledgeable, resourceful, efficient and truly a pleasure to work with. His professionalism is also carried by his crew. They are skilled, courteous and reliable. They take pride in the work they produce. I couldn't have had a better experience! As long as Melvin is in business he will be doing all my future remodels. I highly recommend Zamora Construction!

I hardly do reviews, as a matter of fact this is my first one done on yelp. But after all that has happened, I have to share. I'm giving this business one star because I did business with Fernando who has yet to finish the job he has started on my deck. Its been weeks Ive been calling with no response. If he contacts me and completes what was started I will quickly erase this bad review and give the company 5 stars. Until then I will make sure to get the word out however I can. I'm going to give it some time before I review on facebook and/or make a video about what has happened. Or hasnt happened in this case. I'll update everyone on whether or not this has been resolved.

I had my deck replaced and some garage patchwork and paint work completed by Zamora Construction in August 2017. I had a great experience working with Melvin. He was very accommodating regarding the timing of the project, he gave me a reasonable price, his crew was very professional and courteous, and the work was of high quality.

I highly recommend Melvin (Zamora Construction) for your contractor needs. I needed some drywall hung and taped. I called around to several places, and Zamora had the best deal with the best timeline and was a local business. He was easy to talk to and always responded promptly to texts or phone calls. After initial contact on a Wed, we had agreed on a price and date by Fri, and he was at the job site the following Monday. He finished the project on budget and ahead of schedule. I was also very pleasantly surprised that he had put trim around a window which was not something we had discussed initially. They are first on my contact list now for any contracting needs and would definitely recommend them to others.

I recently bought a home in San Bruno and contacted Melvin (owner of Zamora constructions) to rewire the home, change electrical panel, remodel the kitchen and perform earthquake retrofitting before I moved in. I considered a number of contractors and decided to go with Melvin based on his diligence in taking notes regarding the scope of work and providing detailed estimates and timelines for getting all the work done. His estimate was one of the most competitive bids that I got. Melvin started on the work immediately after signing the contract at the end of Nov 2016. He did almost all of the work himself.
As time went on, the scope of work increased quite a bit. But Melvin accomodated all the changes very easily with reasonable effect on the schedule. The additional work was to insulate the house, repair termite damage, install new furnace ducts, install new carpet in a bedroom, install new lights, sheetrock the garage and several other items. Melvin took care of all of the work with permits. All work was completed and inspected by end of January 2017.
Overall I am very happy with Melvin and Zamora constructions. I recommend him highly.

Zamora Construction did carpet installation on my property and now I trust them with any home improvements. They did a quick and nice job. I came back from work and it was already done. Fast and friendly service with a fair price. I'd highly recommend them (and I do) to anyone for any projects on your home.

It's been more than a few months since the installation and the carpets are holding just fine
