This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used Young's and they're great. They've re-wired switches and outlets in my rental property, installed a light fixture out side and changed out all our lights at home to LED. They are great with communication, call to let you know when they're on the way, they let you know what's going on while they're doing the work, and they're prices are not outrageous. I'll be a customer of theirs for as long as I'm living in their service areas.

Wasted 3.5 hours of my life for nothing. I had an appointment with James between 12-3 at a flip . At almost 3pm I called the office to ask about it and they told that he was going to be late. He came almost at 3:30, didn't say anything about the time, just said ""why am I here for"" I told him again, he walked around for like 3 minutes. I was walking around the place when I saw that he was gone. Never heard from him again. Very disrespectful and not recommended

Young's electric did it again. When I talk to people about customer service, Young's is some I bring up as an example of what people should expect and reward for quality work, done right the first time, and standing behind that work.
We had a weird electrical issue after having a roofing company install a whole house fan as part of a roofing package. Fast forward 9 months and we start having issues with a tripping circuit that shut down the fan and our AC. I called Hanna at Young's and they sent James out the same day, realized the load on the circuit was to much, something the other company didn't look for, and then replaced the circuit free of charge.
I expected to pay for the service, after they sent James out the same day I called, within hours, saying they didn't want us without AC when it is getting hot outside. But nope, James said he was happy to help us out and he stood by the job he did over 3 years ago, no charge.
He gets my recommendation for anyone in East Sac to up the hills in Placerville and beyond that has an electrical need.

We had an electrical 'emergency' involving our kitchen fluorescents (ever try to cook in the dark?) and the potential solutions were mostly beyond my abilities. So - to the phones! Initially, we called Young's because they were the only electrician still answering the phones at that hour - but I was immediately impressed with Hannah's friendliness, professionalism and especially her willingness to answer the phone after the posted end-of-day.

We set up an appointment. Young's is very good at keeping you informed of scheduling, arrival times etc. via the method(s) of your choice: home phone, cell phone, text messaging, etc. This came in handy because they were able to arrive three hours earlier than our initial appointment - and that worked very well for our day's schedule.

Andrew was our serviceman, and he was knowledgeable, courteous, quick and efficient. He diagnosed, and repaired our issue effectively, He even graciously put up with my nattering. All in all, a fine young man. The cost for repairs and parts were very reasonable, and the invoicing was clear and understandable.

I highly recommend this company to handle your electrical needs. We have a few other electrical issues that we've just kinda learned to live with in this old house, and you can bet we will be having this fine company come out and fix them as soon as I can make up a list!

Young's electrical Service is outstanding. Since 2017 they have been my source for all electrical related projects or repair. I first contacted them six years ago when various outlets in the house failed. Not only did Andrew repair and update the older outlets with newer ones at that time, but he installed a weather-proof outlet just outside the house, complete with cover for protection. In subsequent years I have had other issues with electrical failures and Young's always solved the problems. In October of 2021 I hired them again, this time, James, to install a 16 kw Generac Generator System at a very reasonable cost. The installation included various steps: the digging of a trench from the propane tank to the house, adding a concrete pad to accommodate the generator, installation of automatic transfer switch, dedicated circuits, and all new breakers for the circuit panel. Most recently, I hired Andrew to replace all 9 smoke alarms with 10-year battery detectors in the main and guest house. Andrew again did a superb job, a small challenge dealing with detectors placed high in rooms with 20-foot ceilings. Both James and Andrew are extremely knowledgeable, reliable, efficient, responsible and congenial. How fortunate we are to have such an exceptional electrical service in our area.

Our house is in Pollock Pines. We needed help with a small electrical project. An electrician we had used before looked at the job and said he would do it in 2 weeks. He never showed and did not answer our texts or phone calls. That's when I found Young's Electrical Services! They arrived on time to give us an estimate which was emailed to us within a few days. We scheduled the project (lights along our driveway) and added more for them to do (added electricity to a new shed). All was completed in the time frame we had agreed to. We then decided to have a whole house generator installed. Called Young's .... Done as desired. Years ago, we had been told there were loose wires under the house that needed attention... Done. I cannot stress how comfortable I feel working with them. Yesterday, I had a random question about the generator. I did not hesitate to call them.

This is a family-owned business. Hannah is the phone contact, scheduler and etc. she is married to James, who worked on our generator, along with his brother, Andrew, who did all of the other work on his own.
