A lot of miscommunication between workers and myself. While installing recess lighting water pipe was cut. Fan was not installed with all components (remote control) was advised by company I was going to have to pay additional charge for them to come back. Not fair I didn't make mistake and jobs hired to do was over 7,000 dollars. One of the many jobs hired to do was left undone and had to call back to return and complete. Not good at cleaning there mess.

11/7/2018: The City Of Placerville Building Inspector, JV Campos visited my house today inspecting the solar HVAC System installed. Westhaven Solar stepped away getting a bite to eat at Raley's while waiting for Mr. Campos' arrival.

While waiting, Mr. Campos quietly inspected James Young's Diode LED installation . . . Mr. Campos nodded his head as a sign of approval quipping, ""Nice."" Whatever ""nice"" means, right?

At least, Mr. Campos didn't comment anything negative WHICH IS A GOOD THING, right? I must state I held my breath as I observed him reviewing tracing wire connections from left to the right side above the refrigerator with his eyes looking back and forth~EEEEK!

THEN-Mr. Campos stated, ""Interesting."" Walked outside towards the electrical service panel inspecting all the extra amperages recently installed; he walked around to the backyard subtly looking at all the added illumination then, he stated he wanted to check the attic access . . . Oh, boy~Sweating bricks NOW!

While checking the attic, Mr. Campos inspected the HVAC PLUS, he inadvertently began inspecting the electrical wiring installed . . . Still sweating ton o' bricks~SHISH! Finally, he went into my backyard whipping his head upward staring at the motion detector light muttering, ""Ok-yes~That's alright.""

OOOOF~I need taking a shower after Mr. Campos inspected my house for installation code violations, building code errors, and missing installation codes; the HVAC system installation had a few errors BUT, James Young and Tyson's electrical installations, ""Flawless!""

Professional, skilled and knowledgeable. James Young did a great job setting up my EV charger when I need it. He also found serious faults that needed upgrade. At a time when I had to move my residence he set up my new EV charging center for 220 and 110 plug-ins!

Very Happy with this company! I asked Hammonds Water Pump Service ""who is the best electrician in the area"", and he referred me to Young's Electrical Service. When I called them, we setup an appointment for a few days later that week. I then received a text message of the appointment, 2 days later I received a text message confirming the appointment for the next day. The appointment time was between 12-3pm, and a little after noon James called to say he would be there in a few minutes, which he was. When James and Paul arrived they were very professional in their actions and appearance.

I explained what we needed done, James gave me a quick verbal estimate, which was very reasonable. I told him to do the job, and he and Paul quickly did the job. The work was professionally and cleanly done. They left, and then emailed a receipt for the work done.

The bottom line is that James and Paul (who are brothers) are friendly, knowledgeable, straight forward, and just really nice down to earth people. I highly recommend this company, and am recommending them to family and friends.

Youngs Electric is by far the best electrical service in the Placerville area. Gary was so fast, so pleasant and really knew his stuff. I'm so glad they are here. Hannah is also real pleasant and takes good care of you as well.

On Sunday we had several outlets that stopped working. Monday morning I called first thing the initial thing that caught me was the website page. When I called they wanted to schedule a few days later. I explained me wife was going to have surgery the next day.
I was scheduled for a noon appointment, received a phone call around 8:30 Frank said he was on his way.
We were updated on every aspect that took place. The price was better then we expected.
I believe that Young's is a company that believes in the old school of work ethics. Quality work, great customer service, and pride in work completion.
We will never use anyone else.

Extremely professional and arrived on time. He was able to install a ceiling fan/light in our vaulted ceiling when 2 other electricians said it could not be done. I will definitely call Youngs next time I need an electrician. I have already referred them to a neighbor!
