Do not hire these people. they are the worst. I didn't have electric for 12 days. One crew has no idea what the other is doing aka no communication and they sent out many different crews. I agreed to a price of $475 and paid. Today I got another invoice for $1,675!!! I was a contractor for 30 years and can't believe anyone can run a business this way. Total incompetence from day one to day 12 and still continuing , just terrible!

PLEASE BE AWARE!!

After researching three different Electrical businesses, my wife and I settled on Young's Electric. We simply requested two electrical jobs involving the addition of a hot tub as well as a pool lighting. In the midst of the install, the employees/workers broke one of the main water pipes within the attic of the home. This negligent act cause MAJOR water damage throughout the foundation of our home. I was at work, and my spouse was at home. With that said, the employees took advantage of my wife's limited knowledge of the situation. Needless to say but these imbeciles left us with thousands of dollars in repair cost. DON'T TRUST YOUNG'S ELECTRIC!! They mean you harm.

They did work on my rental home in May. They came out two days. First time was for a dimmer switch in the kitchen not, a den. Person who switched out the dimmer switch no longer works for the company. Then the very next day went out changed out a regular switch. They charger me $441.60. Even called Ralph the manager. He said he would call me back or email after looking into the matter and he did neither. Waited a week and called back and basically got the oh well attitude. So basically I was at the mercy of this company and was charged over the top prices. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Customer service not priority
Explaining a situation went on almost deaf ear
They heard me out but would not rectify what I had to say
Claiming the electrian was in my house longer then he was, so charged me according to his records and not mine
Will not use again and they heard me and said that was my choice
PS we are not talking about a lot of money but it's the principle ,I have much more work that will get done by another electrician

I recently called Youngs Electric about a variety of electrical problems I was having at my house on North Captiva Island. Ronnie agreed to send someone out to the Island, even though it required a ferry ride and they had never done work on the island before. John Golladay was the electrician who came to the island. John was fantastic!! He quickly and completely addressed each and every issue. That included new GFI outlets; new regular outlets; grounding outlets to prevent mild shocks; replaced 3 ceiling fans with light kits, and he diagnosed issues with our generator, ice machine and TV/home theatre setup. He gave us referrals to other technicians that could help with non-electrical repairs. John worked non-stop and even pitched in to help us load stuff in the boat. I could not have been more pleased with his work!! I highly recommend Young's if you have any electrical needs.

I recently had a bad experience with another electrical repair company who wanted to charge me $491.00 to replace an external GFI outlet. I sent the first company away and called Young's Electric. Ron was very helpful and schedule my repair for two days later. The electrician showed up on time and had it fixed before I even knew it. It could not have taken more than 20 minutes and the cost was only $112.00. That is an honest business, doing a superb job. Thank you Young's Electrical Contracting.
