Tommy Young, the Owner and President of Young Electric, began his journey in the electrical field as an apprentice in 1999. During his time in electrical trade school, he earned the title of Apprentice of the Year four times out of five. After receiving his Journeyman license in 2002, he managed various projects as the Foreman for a prominent electrical contractor in Central Texas.

His project portfolio features: Baylor University Flats Dorms, Summit Dental Lab, Doris Miller YMCA, Loop 340 Lipsitz Scrap Yard, and Glen Rose Elementary HVAC Renovation.

In 2007, he started estimating and earned his Master License in 2008. ME# 169318

In his role as Project Manager/Estimator, he managed various projects such as:

MCC Emergency Services Center, various Waco ISD projects; Waco ISD Admin Building Renovations, Waco ISD Veteran Field Lighting Renovation, Viking Hills HVAC, Carver Middle School Lighting & HVAC

Dawson School, Pleasant Olive Baptist Church, Dr. Thrasher Dental Office, Genco Federal Credit Union, L-3 Fabric Hangar, Baylor Crasar Labs, Baylor BEC Tommy has been in the electrical business since 1999. Starting as an apprentice, he progressed to obtain his Master's License in 2008.
