We had a problem with 2 outlets not working in garage, was a great mystery as the regular problem causes weren't the cause. They were patient, took time to eliminate possible causes and most importantly, the solved the problem! Can't express how grateful we are it's fixed and they did great fast work.

Talked to them and they are a family run business serving Maui for almost 30 years. Would definitely recommend them for any electric needs.

Oh, the problem, our super old house had garage outlets wired to a bathroom GFCI outlet... I watched their process of figuring it out and I was impressed. Also liked that they had confidence and didn't mind me watching and asking questions.

Was forced to use them through American Home Shield as they are the only agents on Maui. They were absolutely terrible. Didn't turn up twice even though they had made a firm appointment, then yelled and were abusive on the phone when I called to enquire why. They finally turned up and said they had done the job but they hadn't and we needed them back within 24 hrs. They didn't respond to AHS calls either so AHS had to contact their representative agent to contact Yap to see what was happening. After the 3rd time this happened even my AHS agent was getting annoyed by Yap's unprofessionalism! So, after 3 visits Yap still hadn't solved the problem!!!! I'm now paying an electrician independently to do the repair that Yap are incapable of doing. The company is a joke:

Q. How many Yap Electric employees does it take to mend a fan?
A. It doesn't matter, they can't!!
