The system hasn't worked well since it was installed.
*They came out to put in a new Thermostat (which should have been done at the time of Installation) Charged us.
*They came out again and said it would need a part replaced costing about $300. Instead, I had him blow out the drain line twice and it worked better. This should have been done at Installation. Charged us again.
*They came out again and said that a weight had fallen off the fan on the outside unit.
*They came out again and said that the motherboard which links to the heater would need to be replaced, costing more money.

At that time, I requested all of our records. They do not give paper receipts. They say it is digital, but it is not retrievable.Sometimes they were sent in a text coming from various tech phone numbers. This keeps the customer from having proper records. I phoned and I emailed to request copies of the service records and got NO response.

**I hired another AC repairman to inspect the system. When he got into the attic and saw the electrical cord and plug, he said that it needed to be fixed immediately for safety reasons, and that it could be the reason for the system not working. Extreme Air repairmen should have checked this. I have photos of the blackened socket and corroded prongs on the plug.

**We hired an electrician who repaired the outlet and chord. The system works now. He also noticed the poor wiring on the overflow switch.

*** This is all evidence that Extreme Air repairmen lack basic diagnostic skills.

They continually charged us without repairing the brand new system they had installed.

I'm a long-time customer of Xtreme. I've been with them for over 20 years. They have serviced my A/C and heating equipment almost exclusively, with the exception of one time when I made the mistake of confusing another company with a similar name, and that was a mistake. Their prices are competitive and their work excellent. There has been several occasions when I told them I wanted to change out equipment when it wasn't needed; and they advised me that I was wasting my money.
I can't say enough about these folks. They are my go to people.

The tech was very professional and knowledgeable. I am assuming they get bonuses for upselling and their prices are astronomical. It was 1`05 degrees so they had me, I couldn't say no. Really liked the tech but will not use this company again.

I have used their services on two other occasions and I was ""Xtremely"" satisfied with their services. On this third time, another air conditioner unit that they didn't install, the compressor went out on it and it was still under warranty. Since they performed well in the past, I contacted them to perform the services. They installed the new ""Warranted"" compressor for $2,194. The price was very high but I agreed to the service.

The tech indicated they would send me an email receipt on Monday 7/3/2023 and I called on Wednesday to get my email receipt. It was just a total amount and mentioned the warranty compressor. I called and ask for a more specific itemized breakdown of what I paid for, and I got the run around for two days.

They finally sent a receipt, but it was the very same receipt they had already sent. I called again and someone was supposed to call me back (Jake) but never called. I call again and Jake finally called back and said he would provide the itemized copy of a receipt.

What he provided was a Joke and insult to my mental intelligence!!!!!!! The price category was substituted for ""Quantity"" and a number was place there. No actual dollar amount was provided for breakdown of services but the total bill again.

Don't use them, unless you are okay with being billed for services and you don't know what you are billed for. ""Xtremely"" poor customer service!!! Your bill will not list any specific prices for services rendered that they charged for. It will be just a total bill with no explanation of service.

""It's a no for me""

To lose a customer, because you refuse to give your prices for service is not Xtremely Good Service!

Their slogan on the phone says: ""DFW MOST TRUSTED HOME SERVICES COMPANY FOR OVER 10 YEARS!"" LIES! LIES!! LIES!!!

How can you be trusted, and won't provide a specific price for services rendered?

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I had to contact multiple times to even get a quote. They were super unprofessional and sexist. They kept asking to talk to the man of the house. They finally gave me a quote for a new AC and were triple the price of anyone else, but sent a tech out and called multiple times harassing. I definitely will never use this company.

To: Extreme Air Services, please don't send us the link to leave a review when you haven't fully fixed all the issues first. We have been very patient and been understanding but enough is enough!

My family and I hired this company to have a brand new A/C unit installed. New installation of unit, new vents, new everything basically. It has been such a headache! Close to $20,000 later and we have had lots of issues with not being set correctly and not cooling one room and one bathroom in the house. The sales rep promises you things that the technicians won't install unless they have approval. That was taken care of. Then they send the lazy employees for the technician to deal with, they leaned and slept on the sewer pipe, they punctured a hole into the sewer line, they came to fix it. Other things have happened, not worth stating everything. Keep in mind every time they schedule to come out, then end up rescheduling because they are too busy to fix the issues. Have had an appointment for two days to fix the vent issue and not cooling correctly in those two rooms, the appointment was today Friday 5.12.23 and they rescheduled for Tuesday. WHY?? Why would you do that? There is one elderly person living in the house, and one disabled person living in the house. We are very understanding people, but it feels like well since you have been paid, you just leave us on the back burner. Please fix the Issues, this is gone on way too long. I am willing to change my review when all the issues are taken care of.

Will not use this company again. The tech was focused on upcharging for services not related to the repair and selling me a service contract rather than restoring cooling for my tenants. Finally gave me a price over the phone to replace a warranty part. (I had to tell them it was warranty) Refused to tell me what their hourly rate was or how long the repair would take so I could evaluate the price. Once the repair was complete, I receive a receipt with no line item detail or description of the parts replaced for my records and warranty file. I called the office looking for a detailed receipt and was told to email servicetoday@xtremeairservices.com. Don't bother, no one will respond. Finally, even though this company advertises they provide service in Forney, they charge a 2% upcharge on the full cost of the service to go there......from Sunnyvale? Again, lack of transparency, they don't tell you this; it is just added to the invoice. Thanks.

Don't recommend! I had a whole new furnace/AC system installed 10/2020 -$14k. Everly SINGLE year I had them visit my home because the system was lent working. My labor warranty ended 11/2022 - so I had Rowlett Air come out and they said the fuses kept getting blown because the electrical box was too small - shouldn't Extreme Air had to know that???? Another $700 later Rowlett air fixed.

Xtreme Air is good at one thing selling - as far as fixing and installing NO!!!!!!!! God somewhere else.

I was told during August hottest month when out AC was down (New system mind you) they couldn't get to us till the following week. it was over 100degrees in my home with small kids and animals!

stay away from Xtreme air! You have been warned.

RUN. Don't ever use them. CROOKS!!!! Installer came through ceiling. A/C never
worked right. Had to come back a year later and redo entire attic work. Way
overpriced! Neighbor got same system at half the price. They pay for those big
ads in the paper by ripping off senior citizens.

I called to have someone come for my Mother, wanted it the same day. They was able to get someone ( Shane ) out the same day. He was very nice and patience with my Mom and explained what he was doing. Was not pushy, and very effective. He cleaned up the area and gave us his card with his cell number on it with his bosses name ( Johnny ) and phone number on the back. Told us to call if we had any issues or problems. Great company and one I will now trust to help my Mom.
