Ok full disclosure, the owner has been my neighbor for nineteen years. He's never hesitated to help me, my family, or the other neighbors in the neighborhood.

Once, when my kids were very little, a drunk came around the curve near our home and drove right into the side of a house on the inside of the curve. Daniel was on the scene to safe off the electric that got exposed and help board up the gaping hole in the wall left by the car.

Fast forward 16 or so years to last month, and I have a rental house in the same neighborhood. At 4pm on a Friday afternoon, the renters call me to say that their oven and dryer do not work.

Now, I am very handy and pretty comfortable with troubleshooting all sorts of issues including electrical. However, this issue baffled me so I put in a call to Daniel. He was just getting home from what I'm sure was a full day, but he took my call, and told me he would be there after he changed real quick. Sure enough, he met me in less than 20 min from my original call.

In another 10 minutes he had assessed the issue, and after a quick trip back to his house for some parts (my breaker panel had some older style breakers in it), he had the problem fixed in another 20.

Daniel is a stand up guy and provides awesome customer service at a reasonable price.

Highly recommended.

I bought a new house - took out insurance.
A ceilinglight/fan started blinking. Ins.Co. sent an electrician 4 times.
3rd time he replaced the lamp/fan. It still kept blinking.
After 4th visit same thing.
I gave up and called XELECTRIX.
There was a wrong part in the lamp. They replaced it.
All is now working.
After all the previous problem I had had the Owner/Mgr of Xelectrix
wanted to come and check that I did not have any more problems.
Everything OK. What GREAT service.
You deserve 5+ stars.

I am a manager for a small mobilehome park in Folsom, CA and I cannot tell you the number of times Daniel at Xelectrix has bailed us out of a jam! He even went so far as to leave his OWN 4th of July BBQ one year to help out when tenants had lost power on a scorching hot summer day! There are not enough positive adjectives to describe the customer service and quality of work provided by Xelectrix. I am not one who likes to ""recommend"" service providers, but when it comes to family, friends and business associates looking for a professional and reasonably-priced electrician, I never hesitate to recommend Dan and Xelectrix!

Dave was amazing. Prompt friendly service and my exterior outlet is fixed!
I called around 10am, and he was able to come out that afternoon if I needed him. He guided me through the repair, so I learned something along the way.

Beware price gouges!!!!

Requested quote for 6 recessed lights. He quoted $1700.00. Ive called 8 other companies, receiving 4 quotes from other electricians. They ranged from $600 to $950...same work. This guys is polite and may do good work, but be warned he price gouges....by double the market rate.


FYI- I'm going with Folsom Electric. Good service, middle of the road quote of $850.

I have hired XelectriX for 3 different jobs for wiring electrical for security cameras, general electrical issues, adding GFI boxes to the exterior of my house within the last 3-4 years. Daniel is always professional and thorough and been able to schedule a service quickly. Erin has been very professional and have done a great job. This most recent time (4th time) I had Gail and she was equally as professional and efficient. However, for the 5 minutes she was here she simply tested the output of the failed outlets only to find that the main GFI needed a reset (literally pushed a button) - stupid oversight on my part. However, I was still charged a whopping $80 for the 5 minutes she was here!!!! Not sure that this was fair as I have a been a loyal and consistent customer spending about $1,200 in the last 3-4 years. Just beware the services are not cheap and loyalty doesn't mean much.

EXCELLENT!!!! I cannot recommend this company enough! Even though they were booked solid, they squeezed us in and even worked around our schedule. Very prompt, honest, professional service and when the electrician needed another part he didn't have with him, he went to get it and returned quickly to finish the job instead of making us wait another day. This company went above and beyond! I will absolutely continue to use this company should I need to and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing service! You won't be disappointed.

Erin was very helpful and professional! We used the Xelectric team to close out some home inspection issues a few years back and is currently wiring our new garage. I highly recommend them.
