With them for a awhile and james is as smart as they come, well educated in his field, dont understand the noise that im reading .Maybe a bad day,but this guy is knowledgeable and crafty as they come.

As a Lawyer & a Real Estate Broker, I do a lot of business with a lot of people for a lot of different reason and let me tell you that my experience with Wygant Electric & Garage Doors, was by far the worst experience EVER!!!
Office manager, Heather, was absolutely no help at all. In fact, she made the situation worse by continuing to lie to me. Please take your business & your money elsewhere.

Was nervous at first to have this company come out and change out my outlets. My Insurance company picked this company to fix my issue. I crossed my my fingers and hoped for the best. Heather called me as scheduled and followed through with scheduling and letting me know how far the technician was from my house. A simply phone call goes far in my books. So far so good. Tech james came out to fix my porch light and had to come back another day since i had 23 outlets and a door bell button to replace. Again Heather called me as scheduled and made another appt. James was on time and was very professional. I am really glad this company turned out just fine because the initial company that the insurance company assigned never called to schedule an appt so I asked for a new company to be assigned. I really dislike and dont put up with companies that dont follow thru. Work is hard to come by these days so communication and being professional is important. I plan to have james come out and install ceiling fans in my bedrooms. I guess you cant always believe what you read. I hope this company reads this review because it was well deserved. A simply phone call goes far. Keep up the great work Heather and James.

I can only confirm what the other reviewer wrote. I wish I had read these reviews earlier. Wygant Electric was assigned to us to repair our attic fans through our home warranty company. James came by in August to diagnose the problem. After that, Heather made another appointment to have the attic fan replaced. The first appointment was cancelled five minutes before the actual appointment. The rescheduled appointment was cancelled the day of the appointment as well. Meanwhile, it became very hard to get a hold of Wygant.
Phone calls were not returned. On the day of the third appointment, I called to confirm the appointment and to ask when we can expect the electrician to arrive. I had to call 3 times to actually get an answer. Heather said she would find out for me and call me right back. She did not. The appointment time came and went. I called again, Heather told me it would take another 2 hours. I told her that we have to leave and cannot wait any longer. I wasted 4 days that I had to stay home from work and nothing is fixed yet. It is now 6 weeks later. I called our home warranty, which assigned us a new electric company. I really wonder as well how Wygant Electric manages to stay in business. Absolutely terrible!

Do not do business with Wygant Electric and Garage Door company . They have terrible customer service and their customer service girl, Heather, is a liar. Wish I'd read all the negative reviews before I wasted the day today. My story is the same as all the rest (except for the two obviously fake reviews). Wygant Electric was referred to me by my Home Warranty Company a week ago Friday. Wygant never called as I was told they were supposed to do. I finally called on Monday and set up an appointment for Thursday between 9:00 and 12:00. No one showed. No one called. At 12:30 on Thursday I called and was told by Heather that ""her man"" was on an emergency call and it would be a couple of hours. She said she'd keep me updated. She didn't. I called again at 3:30 and was told that she'd just talked to ""her man"" and it would be a couple of more hours. I call the Home Warranty company to see if they could light a fire under their referral. They called Wygant to find out what was going on. Heather embellished the story and told them that it was an emergency with an ""old lady."" Were going with another company tomorrow.

Scheduled service between hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. At 1:15, called to inquire as no one had been out. After calling back several times, I was told each time that someone was coming. No one ever called me back and no one ever showed up. I'm done.

We hired Wygant Electric to rewire and put up lights in our garage. They put up conduit and rerouted our entire electrical in our garage and installed several new outlets. They also installed 4 new lights in the ceiling. He also fixed multiple problems that we didn't even know about in the actual electrical box. Excellent service and he gave us what we wanted for a great price. This was a HUGE job and we are so happy with the results. It looks like we have a new garage now. Thank you Wygant Electric for such a great job. Great experience!

My son and daughter in law are renting a house and this is who the landlord uses. They need some electrical work done, set up an appointment which the company did not show up at the time frame they set up and they never called. My daughter inlaw had to call several times just to get someone to answer the phone finally set up another appointment and they never showed up. She has been waiting for 2 weeks and nothing. This company is a Joke. My husband tried calling but the lady just tried to blame the warrenty company. Really it is your job to return phone calls. Horrible customer service.

I was referred to them through my insurance company to have warranty work done on my attic fan. After leaving several messages, I never received a call back. I contacted my insurance company and was told that they would follow up, and would receive a call from Wygant by the end of the day.
Two days go by, and still nothing. I called again, and finally spoke with Heather. She blamed my home owners insurance, and said that they never gave her my number to contact me. (Apparently forgetting that I had already left several messages with my phone number on it. ). We set up an appointment for two weeks later.
The appointment came and went with out a single phone call. I once again attempted to call Wygant, and gave up after 3 more calls.
Absolutely horrible communication, and its a wonder how they stay in business in this day and age..........

I made an appointment which they missed.... I called to see what happened which they said they will call me back which they didn't.. I left 2 voicemails.
They called me back now to say that a new girl screwed up the first thing and they had to leave the office for the second thing.
*** I called Dean from Maine Electric. He came within an hour and fixed my problem.
