Ryan A.So I had a job which I used Yelp to get multiple quotes for. Wright Electric was one of the businesses. I made the appointment to get an estimate which was about a week's wait. No problem with that. Paul came out and studied the job, was super friendly, and then when he had finished gathering information I made sure he had my correct contact information. He said that he'd send me a quote when he got home later, but the ballpark estimate was between $XXX and $YYYY.
He never sent me his official quote.
My guess is that he wanted me to reach back out to him so that he could gauge either how desperate I was or how likely he was to get the job with his ballpark estimate. Either way, if he sensed I was indeed desperate or that he was the leading bidder, the price would have been $YYYY (or higher).
Not cool at all. Wasted my time.
