Amazing trouble shooting skills, and tools to complete our job. We had dead outlets that spanned 3 different walls around our kitchen and into our living area. He was able to trace the issue quickly and fix where there was a break!
I had 2 other electricians out prior to calling World Electric Contractors. The previous contractors could not locate the issue, much less repair.

Alex is amazing ... we live in the East Bay yet the World Electrical Contractors from Turlock arrived several times to the exact minute they agreed to. Their expertise is beyond question .. The home is over 65 years old and needed an update on some outdoor connections .. Without question and delay Alex and his partner solved all the issues at hand and would unquestionably use the World Electrical Contractors again for any issues that arrive.

Our old school toggle switch gave out, after it functions where it would light our exterior porch light if the knob reach halfway. But it was just dead around the summer of 2022.

So did this Yelp project thing needing an electrician (cuz none of us knew any) and Alex of world electrical contractors stood out, and I believe his rates are reasonable and has a little over 20 year's experience. Had him come in and he was done in less than 30 minutes. Had his proper tools and a meter; was replaced by an easier rocker/flat switch which is typically nowadays the standard when you buy a new home nowadays. It explains how old our house is.

We may reach out to him as we do have some other minor issues but not major at this moment.

Our main fuse was not functional and half of the house didn't have any power including our well. We didn't have power for well pump either. Alex came and diagnosed the problem. Since the panel was old, it wasn't easy to find the breaker. He found it in Modesto. Found someone local to pickup the part before the store closed. Drove from Los Gatos to Modesto to pickup the part. And drove back the same day to install the part very professionally. The process took more than 8 hrs and he had a very reasonable ask for compensation. I would hire him again.

Amazing service contacted World Electrical due to my solar company messing up my electrical Alex was so kind he squeezed me in at 6AM due to another job he was working in less than 24 hrs was very honest and fair on pricing due to it being the solar companies fault they had to fix it but Alex didn't even touch anything and diagnosed the issue and was 100 percent correct on the problem. We have had over 9 electricians come in from the solar company and none of them could figure it out but Alex was so experienced he knew right away what our issue was Highly recommend and will continue to use them in the future I can't say enough good things about the customer service.

If you value your time and sanity I highly recommend going somewhere else!!

Started off with quoting a price to move my breaker box and the price going up once we started the process, ended up knocking it down after I told him never mind (at the end I paid more then both prices given).

I should have found someone else after the first visit when he tried to talk me out of getting permits and not calling pg&e to shut off power.

The whole process was a cluster of miscommunication and disorganization..
Finally scheduled to come out and start repair so I took the day off from work to be there. He gets there and did not call pg&e to get power shut off, he scrambled trying to fix it but the process takes a bit.

Finally when we did have the power shut off he came out and tore everything apart and did not have the materials to do the job (after 3 visits prior),
he had to leave for hours to get materials. When he came back he had things so screwed up that he was there till 1am trying to fix it. When he left we still had no power in multiple areas. Came back the next day to try to figure it out, by the 3rd day he had everything working.

Trying to schedule was a mess, he would text me the morning of and ask if he could come out. I would tell him I need more notice but would get it thrown in my face that I was hard to schedule with..

As I complained about the process and the damage to my home he keeps telling me all the issues are due to me and $$$ which the only issue was quotes given.

At this point we were done and did not want them back out, there is still stuff to be done but at this point we do not want to risk being down multiple day again.

Great work by Alex and his team. Reached out for a quote and World Electric was very responsive. Received a quote and agreed for work to begin. Within two days I had a fully functioning Tesla wall connector. They were professional and left the area clean. I wish I didn't put this off for so long. Will definitely use them again in the future.
