Company Overview
We specialize in electrical improvements and troubleshooting in residential settings, in addition to major appliance repair. Regrettably, we do not service small appliances, TVs, or brands such as SubZero, LG, Samsung, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, and Bosch.
Since 1980, this family-owned company has been dedicated to keeping East O'ahu operational. You might say that the roots of appliance and electrical repair are deep in my family, with my father, Daniel W., as the founder. Once he retired, I took over and currently run the business by myself. Living and working in the same neighborhood, particularly one that values community, is a true privilege. Having grown up in East O'ahu, I view it as a blessing to manage a small business in this community.

We had a really disappointed experience from them.
I'm sorry my English is poor but I try my best to write down about the story.
We had a service to put a chandelier on the ceiling.
After making a appointment, two guys came in to take a estimate.
I was there to explain :
1:where the exact spot to place chandelier,
2:showing the best way to hide a new power line from the wall to ceiling, and also asked them
3: to set a dimmable switch for it. So total asked 3things for chandelier.
A few days later,we had a estimate showing in a picture. And scheduled the earliest appointment we could, was one month later from last visit.
At the service day, Two of them came in , one is different from last time. The other was same.
One guy (came in first time)started drilling on the wrong ceiling spot to pull a new power to a chandelier till I just noticed their work. We asked them to fix it because that's very different plan from last meeting.
How come it happens??

One of them was here last time to make a today's plan for.
After while I came back to check the power line, and second time. The line wasn't still set correct.I didn't want to tell them to fix it again, I felt that made the atmosphere worse. But I told them.
The guy from last time was kept signing every time I asked for.
He said "" I don't remember(the today's plan)""...
I decided to stay away from the construction place until they're done.
In the end ,they put a regular switch instead of dimmable one. Really disappointed.
After they left, I asked them again for replacing switch part.
I attache a picture from our conversation between them and me.
According to estimate, they say they don't have a duty to replace the switch.
I wish they would have written what we asked down because that's what we discussed with them before we received the estimate.
If you would like them to ask improvement, you have to stay with them all the time and need check often how the things going. otherwise you'll Not get exactly what you want.

Woo's has been our go-to electrical and appliance team for many years now. I have my extended family using them too. They have been 100% reliable, friendly, professional, and effective every single time.
Yesterday, Mike went to fix my mom's dryer. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the dryer up and running in 15 minutes.
AND THEN HE GAVE MY MOM MANGOES FROM HIS TREE. That's the kind of people they are.
No guarantee that you are going to get backyard mango for your service call, but guarantee that they will be friendly, professional, and reliable.

I have an old house with eccentric wiring that was added to by the former owners. I have had numerous issues over the years, and have used Woo's for upgrading the circuitboard (think that is the right term) and adding many new plugs throughout the house. Marvin is professional and does a great job. Would definitely recommend!

Marvin and Harvey are the best electricians ever. They are fast, thorough and very patient with my many questions and with my dog who is very rascal. I love all of my new outlets, switches, dimmers and lights. June the scheduler is always so very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this great company.

My top-load washer (Whirlpool, direct drive) stopped spinning and agitating, so I searched around on the internet and diagnosed it as the motor coupling. I ordered the part myself on Amazon but was too lazy to install it so I called around to some appliance repair stores to get a labor quote. This is when I found Woo's Electrical & Appliance. Their quote was reasonable and booking the appointment was very easy with friendly service. They were quite busy so I asked if they could let me know if they had any cancellations, which they ended up doing, but I was busy during that time. No worries, I kept my original appointment date/time. They also have a booking system that texts you appointment reminders and notifies you when their tech is on the way.
Fast forward, their technician Mike arrived on time and was very friendly. I showed him the washer and he had no issue getting it apart and found that it was in fact the motor coupling. He installed my part and got my washer back in it's place and tested it out all with in an hour.
Based on this experience, I wouldn't hesitate to use Woo's again in the future.

We LOVE this company. We've relied on them for years. Their prices are fair and they do excellent work. What I appreciate about them the most is that they are honest. Something that is hard to find these days. Over the years they've repaired washers, a dryer and two refrigerators. We've even had them come out to determine when it's time to ""retire"" an appliance as we tend to keep our appliances for as long as possible since new appliances are very expensive year over year.

Woo's provides good, competent and consistent services to homeowners over the years. If unavailable due to scheduling, advance notice is provided. Good office protocol and invoice procedures. Straight talk/counsel.

This is the 3rd time I used Woo's. Each and everytime time was a great experience. This job was done 2 weeks ahead of schedule, I think my other jobs were done ahead of schedule too... he calls to see if ok to come, Marvin and Mike are fast, excellent service and very reasonable.

We were amazed by the 5 star rating and after having Marvin and his assistant provide electrical work for us, we would have given more stars if given the opportunity. From scheduling to getting an estimate to the actual servicing, we were very impressed with the professionalism, reliability and quality of work. We replaced our maxed out circuit breaker and got the set up to be able to install AC. We are looking forward to a more cooler summer. Thank you to Marvin and team for making it a pleasant experience.

Fantastic customer service and Jeramy was very knowledgeable and professional when he came to repair my ice maker.
