My post is a bit late but not forgotten. I am so especially thankful to Joey for the wonderful work he did on our home. Not only did he work through his weekend but Labor Day weekend. He upgraded our entire house and actually repaired things the prior contractor did wrong. Little did we know we were living in a fire waiting to happen. God truly sent us an angel that ultimately saved our family and home from tragedy. The guys were polite, clean, considerate, hard working, and fast. Couldn't have more great help.

I gotta say this is my very first yelp review. I had a jaw dropping experience with Joey (Wood Electric). Before I called him I called 3 other companies and they were not very professional and one was very arrogant. I am selling my house and there was a light fixture that needed to be removed by a licensed electrician, per the appraisal company. The companies I called prior to (WE) did not seem too interested when I explained my situation, they saw it as a waste of time. Joey, on the other hand, was very friendly, honest and willing to help. Once here, it took him no more than 10 mins to fix the problem. He deserves my very first 5 star yelp. Any Electrical work you need He's the man.

I don't often write reviews on Yelp but Wood Electric earned this raving review. Against three other bids for a panel replacement that my home was due, Joey (the owner) BY FAR offered the lowest price bid against other vendors we were considering.

Some reviews have indicated that he doesn't immediately get back to his customers and scheduling is difficult, which can be seen as a negative. To be fair to those reviewers, scheduling CAN be a challenge with Wood Electric. However, this is a reflection of the demand from other various clients because of the quality of work they show when they do their projects. As a consumer, it's worth the additional persistence to work with Wood Electric, even if there is some challenges in scheduling. Once the project(s) is/are complete, it would have been worth the additional phone calls and text messages. Joey and his crew are professional, hard working contractors who do things correctly and efficiently. Contractors generally get a bad rap, but Joey and his crew have shown otherwise.

My panel project resulted in an unforeseen issue with one of my kitchen outlets due to poor quality of work from a previous contractor. Joey was willing to take on the additional project of fixing this issue, despite his ridiculously busy schedule. He was even kind enough not to charge extra due to some of the inconvenience in trying to schedule with him (disclaimer: this probably doesn't happen too often with his customers!). I would definitely recommend them for any electrical projects that are needed.

Joey and his crew were outstanding. Joey actually came to my house shortly after i called on a Sunday and was able to restore power to my house and then within days replaced my panel on an emergency basis. He even tracked down a faulty installation of my AC which was causing interruptions. I would highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again.

I called this company based on the reviews at 0730 because the power went out in my garage. They said they would come between 1-2P. At 3P I texted asking for an update. They read the text but did not reply. After texting again they finally replied and said they had truck problems and would send someone else. That was around 4P. Never heard from them again. I've lost all of the food I had in the refrigerator! What kind of way is that to do business? I would NOT recommend this company if you call for same day service!

Update: 5 minutes after posting my first review which was one star I received a text from the owner Joey. He apologized and was very concerned about the service I received from his company. He asked for an opportunity to make up for it. I believe in second chances and gave him one. I am so glad I did! He came over the next day but it turned out to be more of a problem to fix than I expected. He spent a lot of time researching the problem. I decided to just have everything replaced. They came back the next day and fixed everything even doing a few extra things. They were on time and stayed within quote. I would now highly recommend this company!

very professional company Joey was very honest, friendly, and very oriented and knowledgeable. he explained everything clearly from start to finish. , Joey and his crew worked fast and did a great job . I had them install my Lighting for my front room, I shopped around for three different prices before I hired an electrician. Joeys price was very affordable and he is license. Trust a un license Electrian to work on your home DO NOT hire an unlicensed electrician, I know now by experience. Trust Joey and his crew !

We've had Joey do electrical work on our house a couple times and have been completely satisfied. He has been really helpful explaining what he would do and why he would do it that particular way. For example, he did a great job optimizing the recessed lighting in our living room. Everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. We would not hesitate to have Joey do further work for us and would prefer him for any future electrical needs.
