Update: after several collection calls, I finally got their collection agent to send me a copy of the bill today, the first time I had seen it. It was for $215 for attaching two wire nuts to some bare wires and looking at my electrical box without touching anything and saying ""it looks ok."" Remember they were out there to give me an estimate....

So instead of an estimate, they sent an bill which I never received. Why didn't I get it? Because they sent it to an address to which the post office does not deliver, and it was returned to them. Wonder Electric knew or should have known that I didn't get their invoice, because the post office sent it back to them. Instead of correcting their error, they sent me to collections -- nice! I also told their office person that I didn't receive anything, but instead of her asking where it should be sent, or asking for an email address, or anything, she just told me the bill (which I had never seen, for an amount I was never told) was going straight to collections.

There's an element of spite in this, because the collections person told me that Wonder Electric thinks I was just using them to get a free professional opinion before I did the work myself. This would explain, though not excuse, why they never got back to me and why they treated me with such disdain -- but there's no truth to it at all.

In fact, I got (or tried to get) estimates from Hale Electric and another company, because I really needed the work done and I was willing to pay for it. Hale came out and looked and then told me they were too busy (job too small), and the other place ghosted me, but only Wonder Electric sent me a bill. I surmise that they decided (incorrectly) that I was trying to cheat them out of their expertise, so they never bothered to send it, but instead to charge me $215 for capping some wires.

Meanwhile, I have excellent relations with my plumber, my builder, and other people I hire to help with renovations. I pay them promptly and without complaint. I have left them excellent reviews here on Yelp.

Wonder Electric needs to seriously examine how their office works and stop making bad assumptions about their customers, then spitefully pursuing vendettas against them for imagined slights. I am sure there are good people at Wonder Electric (in fact everyone who came out seemed nice), but some people there seem to want to start vendettas with their customers. That's not something that anyone imagines when they call an electrician, but that's what I got.

This companies name fits their status. They are a complete wonder!???!!
I am finally dropping this company after many attempts over months to get them to start work on my home. They came out for estimates but could never pinpoint a time to start the job. There was one excuse after another and incompetent persons in charge, anything from not feeling well to going on a vacation.
I spoke with the secretary on many occasions and always an excuse that sounded legitimate, but nothing would ever become of it.
Finally after undue patience from worker(s) in charge and the secretary I am dropping this ""company"".
My last conversation with the secretary after the worker in charge did not return my calls, I asked the secretary if they were interested in the job. She was very insistent and reassuring they are interested in the job, but have been busy on other sites. She had said I will talk to the worker in charge and call you tommorrow. The secretary never called me back.
This company is no good!!!
I strongly recommend looking elsewhere as Wonder is extremely unprofessional, insidious & deceiving.

So we used Wonder Electric in 2018. Not impressed and service was not the greatest we had at least 3 issues with this company. Fast forward to the very end of 2019. I called another company and actually ended up being forwarded to Art and scheduled an estimate for a couple of electric items I wanted done. Art was with Wonder Electric it turns out. He was on time for the estimate and gave me a price and told me the staff from 2018 had been replaced. It's like a whole new company. A few days later we had the work done plus a couple of other items. Jerry and Carlos did a wonderful job and were on time to do our project. Art followed up. I am actually thinking about another item I would like done and I will not hesitate to call Wonder Electric again.

Top shelf. I did a huge remodel (a bit over my head) and Wonder Electric knocked it out of the park. Dropped a ceiling to find out that the previous electricians did some heinous work that turned a decent sized project into a huge one.

I can't thank Art and his team enough. Kept me informed the entire time and were patient and very accommodating to me. Going to always use Wonder Electric going forward! Thank y'all!

So I finally had Art and the fellas from Wonder Electric out to do some pretty extensive updating of my electric system in my 50 year old house. I already posted a negative review of LT Electric due to the generally miserable service I received in my attempt to schedule them to do the same work. Art was considerate, responsive, and attentive to all my needs as a customer. I am a senior and Art was ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE IN THE BEST OF WAYS helping me with costs. Nick, Garrett, Dakota and Art were all consummate professionals. Just a super experience. Call Wonder Electric. You will be glad you did.
