I used them about a year ago (Dec. 2023) and they were great. But tried getting them out again this last week for more work, and nobody answers the phone, nobody calls back, and nobody replies to email. Seems like they are out of business?

I cannot rave enough about Wise Electric and Junior - thanks to my neighbor who referred me! My washing machine was tripping, and I suspected I'd need to replace my circuit breaker - already my 5th breaker replacement and I just moved into a brand-new development! However I wasn't entirely sure the problem could be my washing machine. Junior was great at diagnosing my washing machine with some kind of app on his phone - which indicated my washing machine was fine, and then determined I did need to replace my circuit breaker. Since my neighborhood apparently has a known reputation of having defected circuit breakers, he gave great advice on sharing my customer dissatisfaction to the breaker manufacturer. During the entire time, Junior was great at informing me and answering all my questions. I was also happy that all this service was done in under an hour.

The above & beyond customer service that made a bonus impression on me - Junior recognized that my doorbell cover needed replacement, and offered that service. He wore the blue booties inside my house. He took the time to highlight the trip code descriptions in the instruction booklet so next time my breaker trips, I can identify the issue based on the # red blinks. I also loved that instead of business cards, they have magnets which he stuck on my breaker door - brilliant marketing!

Wise Electric has a number of very positive reviews here and on other sites so I decided to give them a call. I have been putting off some recently needed electrical work after I had a previous electrician at my home about 12 years ago. He completed a few small repairs and told us we should update/replace our breaker box.

First, I used the contact form on their one-page website on a Sunday, that way they would have my address and contact information. Then I phoned the main number about 11 AM on Monday morning. The woman who picked up could only give me an appointment two weeks out, (odd but understandable) however she had never received the contact info (Also odd but understandable).

I received a phone call about 2:30 PM from Mr. Wise. He had the information from the contact sheet and asked me more questions about the electrical issues. Based on the information I gave him, he felt that a complete breaker box replacement may not be needed and told me they prefer to fix or replace whatever item is in actual need of fixing. (That's honest and honorable!) during our conversation Mr. Wise received a text from one of his crew, then returned to my phone call and let me know that his staff person was finishing up with an assignment not far from my home and could possibly stop by later that afternoon. Great!

Mr. Wise had his technician, Mr. Thurman, come over to my house. They have a pick up truck with the Wise name on the front and ample supplies and ladders.

Mr. Thurman replaced two different breakers in the breaker box and tested all the other ones. He replaced a faulty outlet as well. I don't recall the exact amount of time he was here but the cost was reasonable.

Wise Electric services received my highest possible recommendation. (Like many other independent conttractors, they prefer a personal check as payment, but if medical offices still use fax machines then what are we going to do?)

Mr. Wise did an outstanding job restoring our electric line and coordinating with Georgia Power. Given all he did, I thought his charge was very reasonable.

They saved us thousands! Another company, starts with C ends with eel, told us that we needed a whole new panel as it ""might go out at any time."" They gave us a quote for just under $3,000 last fall. We decided before we bit the bullet this spring to get a second opinion , and Oh Boy am I glad we did! We do NOT need a new panel! The owner came out himself at no charge to take a look. He just got himself a custom for life and we haven't even used his company yet!

Contacted Mr. Jim Wise about installing under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. I talked to him several times before I hired his company and he was very nice and helpful. Tico installed the lighting and was very respectful, nice, and did a great job. Will contact Wise Electric again if I need additional electrical work done and highly recommend his company.

Was parked in the target parking lot, and the owner of the company hits my truck and sits in his car like it is no big deal, does not get out and walks away to carry on with his day. If he is this careless with vehicles, I can only imagine how he is with his customers electrical.
