Have not received our bill yet, so I can't speak of value, but I can certainly speak of customer response. We had an urgent electrical problem with our panel in the garage. I needed help ASAP. They came within an hour! Then they followed up the next day to make sure everything was OK. Couldn't be more pleased.
Do not recommend Wisco electric. Long story, but I was charged for two workers at 70.00 per hour plus 30.00 call fee, and the job was partly finished
(restoring power to a light fixture with a 3-way switch). Two guys came over, I showed him where the two switches are and the service panel. This was clearly a one man job, took him15 minutes and only one switch working. Got the bill on email, called to inquire about it, and got no satisfaction from Beth the office manager. Tried to contact the owner, finally he called and agreed to send the same two guys out again no charge. The guy asked me to sign a form requiring payment for any new work, which to him included the other switch that he never looked at on the first trip. I declined to sign the form and they left without doing anything. More than a misunderstanding, this company ripped me off and was less than courteous about it. Don't call them, I wish I hadn't.
I have tried to remove my negative post for WISCO ELECTRICAL and Yelp won't let me! WISCO has done what they could to satisfy me as a customer. Making sure everything is completed before inspection. Thank you WISCO ELECTRIC. DAWN
Ask for a quote to do some work and I got ghosted. What's the point of coming out to see what the job is. Apparently it was too small a job
Mr Shane. This was a while ago and I did call your office a few times and sent emails. I shouldn't have to chase you down for my business.
I would not recommend Wisco Electric services. Their invoice showed 5 hours of labor at $120.00 per hour. They (the electrician and helper) were there for 4 hours. When I inquired about the bill, Wisco explained that the extra hour was for their travel to and from Niceville. Even though they already charged a $30.00 trip fee. Additionally, the technician had to call back to the office a couple of times for help with troubleshooting. At $120.00 per hour, I shouldn't have to pay for training time. I discussed same with owner, but he would not reduce the bill. Wisco got me once, but never again. This should be a warning to others.
Went thru Angie's list, and got a response from that, saying Wisco was interested. So I thought I would call and see about getting a quote on a job. Well, you get a voicemail, all day long, telling you to leave a name and number and the purpose of our call, and she will call you back within 24 hours. Which, okay, no biggie, but clean our your voicemail so you can accept to messages. Couldn't leave a message if I wanted to, and now, I don't want to.
The electrician arrived 40 minutes late. The electrician was helpful and efficient. He fixed our problem in about 15 minutes. Main problem was billing. They said $30 plus $50/hour rate. They should have said $50/hour increment. So even if the electrician were there for only five minutes you would still be charged for an entire hour. Expect an $80 charge for even a 5-minute service call. I recommend you look elsewhere.
