Dave saved the day!!! It's been very stormy with super high winds!! Woke up to a LIVE (hot) power line in my driveway and in the street, having snapped apart in the wind storm! My roof weatherhead (where power lines connect to the house) was bent and broken. Called PG&E. Fire department arrived first to secure the area from traffic and keep people safe from the live wire. PG&E removed the damaged power line but PG&E could not connect power back to damaged weatherhead and informed me that I needed an electrician. Never needed one before so didn't know who to call and started calling companies from the Pacifica phone book. Dave showed up within one hour of my panicked early rainy morning call. He repaired the weatherhead, patched the roof and worked with PG&E to get the city inspector out on a rush basis to approve the job so the power could be restored. I am a in-home care provider for a person with disabilities and Dave and PG&E (Lloyd, you ROCK!) prioritized this job so that my client did not have to spend the night with a respite provider! The repair cost more than I expected for this type of job but Dave assured me the price was lower than other electricians would charge! :-) I invited him to come back and bid on work needed inside the house. Recommend him highly. I'm so grateful to Dave, Lloyd from PG&E, other PG&E staff who reconnected the power and Mike, the city inspector from Pacifica for rushing this repair!

Dave is a nice guy and a good local Pacifica electrician (good with pets in the house). His scheduling was a little off at times, but he got the job done. My furnace went out and I called Dave. He helped me troubleshoot some simple stuff over the phone (breakers, etc.) before he came over to look at the furnace motor. Dave pulled the motor and came back the following day with a replacement motor. Now the furnace is working great. $350 was the cost to remove and replace the motor.

The service entrance wire holder came off my roof after last year's storm. I had Franmore Electric reattach it last year but it came apart after a matter of weeks. I've asked them to repair it, and they said they'd come by, but after over a year, nobody came, and the problem just got worse. My siding and roof were practically tearing off.

I called Wire Works and he gave me the best advice ever. He asked me to call PG&E and explained what had to happen. In a matter of hours, PG&E had reattached the wire holder to the mast, and the problem was solved.

I have just finished nailing my sidings back on and straightening out my roof. Neither of these repairs were necessary had Franmore Electric done this right the first time.

Even though Wire Works did not provide physical work, they did provide expert advice. If PG&E had not fixed the issue, I wouldn't hesitate to call Wire Works back to complete the job.

Have had a couple of problems with my electrical breakers... and Dave has been able to help out both times. He's personable, prompt, and a complete professional! I highly recommend you call Dave if you need electrical work done!

My experience with Dave was nothing short of excellent! I was in a jam, big time, with what I would call rather extensive work including a panel replacement and old work never completed or simply done wrong. The time frame was less than two weeks due to other coordinated events at the house to put it to market.

I left Dave a voicemail, he returned the call in minutes. Other highly rated electricians in the area never, and I mean never, returned a call....not even a courtesy call after leaving more than one voicemail. Back to Dave ... that same day he made it to the house within a few hours, he evaluated the entire project, provided a very reasonable, fair quote ... and promised to have the job done on time.

Fast forward to today ... the job is done, on time, on quote, no surprises ... on top of inclement weather postponing the exterior work for over 3 days. I am on the east coast, Dave was in constant communication on status, and provided pics on work completed and in process, as well as suggestions and helpful comments on things that made sense for us to consider.

His work is clean and professional, Dave knows his stuff and is a pleasure to work with.

Based on my experience, I would be skeptical of any review that says otherwise.

Dave was able to fix my Main Electric Box almost right away and was very sensitive with my time frame. His workmanship and professionalism exceeded my expectations. He runs a very honest business and will be very fair while being very competitive. We've had Dave fix a number of electrical issues ranging from a doorbell that didn't work, a bathroom plug that kept tripping the breaker and a new electrical panel for a rental house. Today, he fixed my washing machine. The previous service tech (from a warranty company) stole the code manual for our washer so we were stuck trying to find out what our error code meant. A local service tech told us it was a drain issue but that wasn't the case. When my husband noticed that a wire had come out of a harness, he called Dave. We sent him a picture and he said he could fix it. Job is done, the washer works and I'm a happy camper.

DO NOT HIRE HIM - he is unlicensed. I had him do some work for me as part of a project with PGE. I had to hire another electrician to get his work inspected and permitted before PGE could complete the job. He could not get a permit or an inspection because he doesn't have a license. Any work done over 500.00 is illegal without a licences. He lied to me about this and strung this along for months calming he would make sure I didn't need a permit without ever admitting he could not get one. He is also very flakey. I heard all the excuses..funeral, truck broke down, didn't have the money to buy the supplies. I feel really stupid for trusting him but I learned by lesson. Always check to see that your professionals have a license. Just google state of California license board. It takes 5 seconds and will save you a world of hurt.

Just wanted to write a follow up review after having to undo this guys poor job on my hot tub wiring. He ran a plastic conduit along the side of our house rather than burying it as code dictates and I had to get everything done over again. If you ask anyone around Pacifica who to avoid for electrical work, this is the guy they will mention.

He was great, reasonable, friendly and efficient. To repair rather than replace an old under-counter light, he suggested we get a new ballast, but his supplier was expensive, he told me what to get, I got it online for 1/4 the cost and he installed it within a few minutes. Great working with him.
