Thanks Wire Tech for your help. You arrived on time and as promised for the estimate and then on the day of the job you arrived earlier than you said. It was perfect. You were efficient, got the job done and cleaned up after yourself, which was greatly appreciated.

The exterior light install was a little complicated because it was high up and required going up 20-25 feet. I called several people who didn't even want to do the job.

I worked with Wire Tech, the owner Olvin, to install my Tesla charger this week. During our first meeting, he gave me a very competitive quote and we scheduled the installation on the spot for a few days out. Olvin showed up right on time and the work was finished ahead of schedule. Even though we had some challenges with this installation, the job was done very clean and very precise. He obviously knows what he's doing. I would highly recommend working with Wire Tech.

I like the fact that they respond to your requests in a timely fashion. However, the quote they provide is expensive as compared to others in the market. Their standard response on why their price is high is "" we do a professional thorough job and use high quality materials"". I would suggest not to buy such stories as everyone are suppose to do a good job and price the work appropriately.

The work from Wire Tech Electric was superb from start to finish.

I had a Nema 14-50 installed. He quickly gave me a rough quote over the phone so I could decide if I wanted him to give me a detailed quote. After visiting the house, Olvin provided a very reasonable quote and asked many pertinent questions. He also took his time to answer all of my questions. While visiting my house he looked at the main panel and subpanel and carefully explained all of my options with prices.

He was very reasonable on his price and very knowledgeable. I agreed and he came out the next day right on time and stayed until the job was completed. Cleaned up after himself, repaired all of the drywall and had a perfect end result.

I will definitely use them in the future.

I was having problems with some outlets/rooms losing power without the breakers tripping. I submitted multiple requests for estimates through Yelp, and Olvin got back to me quickly. Olvin first walked me through some trouble shooting over the phone (which temporarily fixed the issue) until he could come out (same day - huge plus) for an inspection. I ended up needing a new sub-panel and also wanted to install a dedicated outlet for my electric car. Olvin was incredibly professional, quick with his estimates, and a pleasure to work with. He and his team completed the work in ~4 hours and were helpful in answering all of my questions and making sure I understood the location of all of the new breakers and what they controlled. I highly recommend Olvin for any job, big or small. It's tough to find a friendly electrician you can trust, so glad to have found Olvin.

On Saturday, July 20th I logged into the website for Wire Tech Electric (https://www.wiretechelectrical.com/ ) and requested someone come out to my house to give me a quote to add a Level 2 electric vehicle charging station into my garage for my new Chevy Bolt. I received an email back from Olvin Rivera later that evening and we arranged to meet on Wednesday afternoon (July 24th) for the free quote for the installation. Olvin texted me prior to the scheduled time to let me know he was on his way.

I already knew that my existing 220-amp breaker panel was full and after he arrived we discussed adding a subpanel into the garage to contain the 40-amp breaker for the 240-VAC level 2 charging station. Across the board, Olvin's prices for the work and materials was better than the prices listed for Amazon's professional installation for any of their level 2 chargers. He emailed me a copy of the quote and I decided to go with his team.

This morning Olvin texted me prior to his scheduled time to inform me that he was heading over to do the install. He and a helper came out to the house and extended the main breaker panel into the garage and added the subpanel, 6-gauge wire (rather than the smaller 8-gauge wire that was minimally required) and terminated everything to a NEMA 14-30 outlet. Everything was professionally installed, the breakers were tested and frankly it really looked like it belonged there. Ten minutes after they left UPS delivered the TurboDX charger that I had ordered. Unfortunately, the TurboDX charger required direct connection to the power source rather than through the NEMA plug.

Luckily, Olvin Rivera from Wire Tech Electric was able to return to my house after lunch where upon he removed the NEMA plug and modified the wall connection to allow the power to be connected directly to the charger. The TurboDX charger was a problem from the get-go as although the charger came in a nice aluminum casing, the casing needed to be drilled out to allow the electrical feed to enter from the back into the housing. Olvin had the necessary tools to get the casing drilled out and inserted a plastic knockout bushing to protect the wiring through the hole. Then he leveled and attached the charger to the wall and connected the power directly to the charger. He also called the tech support hotline for the TurboDX charger to ensure everything had been properly connected (the installation instructions for the TurboDX charger were a little too basic for what we were doing.)

Everything worked fine and using the new level 2 charger, the Chevy Bolt charged the last 60 miles until full charge in just under 2 hours.

I really liked the way Wire Tech Electric kept in contact with me throughout the process from answering my request for a quote, then sending me the full quote after we discussed the work to be done, the text messages prior to arrival to let me know to expect them and their promptness to arrive within the designated appointment time. I found Olvin and his helper (whose name I have forgotten) to be very professional and courteous and I found the work to be first rate. I will definitely keep them in mind for any future electrical contract work.
