Very happy with the work from Wire Tech Electric. Olvin and his crew were prompt, efficient, and super nice. Olvin was really great at communicating about our project and their pricing was really competitive.

We did significant electrical work to our 110 year old home in Oakland. Wire Tech did a complete re-wiring of most of our home to remove remnants of old knob & tube and bring everything up to code. They also replaced our main electrical panel and installed a 2nd meter for a planned in-law unit. This required coordination with PG&E and Oakland building inspectors and everything went really smoothly. Cannot recommend Wire Tech enough - we will definitely be calling them next time we need electrical work.

Olvin is great to work with and his guys are polite, tidy, and friendly. I had several other electricians come out & bid on my job, & chose Wiretech not only because his pricing was fair but also because they were responsive to my calls and communication is good.

Communication is key in construction, I've dealt with so many subs who don't answer their phone, email, or texts, but wiretech is not like that

Olvin helped us with installing a new 200 amps 120/240 volts single phase with new AFCI breakers, putting news ground wires from panel to main shut off water and gas service, installing 2"" rigid conduit, new service wires, pulling new wiring for garage panel and garage sub panel. The work is professional and up to code. You might need to wait for awhile but once the job is done, you'll be at ease that your home is now safe. Olvin is knowledgeable and professional. His pricing is reasonable as well.

I worked with Olvin with Wire Tech Electrics put a new grounding wire and replace old receptacles for the entire house. Him and his crew did a great job!! Initially the work was 2 days work, however they were able to complete it in 1 full day instead. Olvin does very good work, quickly and clean. He is very knowledgeable about local inspectors, pg&e and up to date electrical codes. He is about mid priced and fair. You get really good work done at a fair price with permits and inspections. I would fully recommend this company to all my neighbors!

I recently had an after hours electrical emergency. I called several electricians and left messages with every one of them. Some called back and said that they were too busy, and some didn't call back at all. When I called Wire Tech, Olvin answered right away, and even though he couldn't come to my house that night, he referred me to another company that he thought might be able to help. This other electrician talked me through the problem, but they were all booked for the next several days. I then called Wire Tech again and made an appointment for the next morning.
Olvin came to the house the next morning, diagnosed the problem, and he and his crew did the work within a few days.
I recommend Olvin and Wire Tech Electric because 1) he answered my call after hours, 2) when he couldn't help me right away he referred me to a competitor, and 3) he scheduled the job promptly, finished quickly, and was very professional.

I hired these guys to do a difficult job of running electrical underneath the house that sits on a hill. The retaining walls were a extreme issue. They figured it out and did an excellent job! Olvin offered me two options and explained how he would do both. They wore masks and boot covers and cleaned up everything. I recommend them for any job!
