I needed some recessed lights installed in my house. I got quotes from a couple of the highest rated electricians on yelp in my area and Doug was the cheapest of them all. He was very meticulous with his work and even took time to suggest a few changes which he thought will help improve the look of the lighting and the house. Overall, very very happy with his work. I definitely recommend him.

Doug saved the day! He was able to come out the same day I called and replace and repair my breaker for my refrigerator. I also asked him to to move the location of my chandelier on the spot and he went above and beyond to accomplish the tasking by helping me assemble a new chandelier. It's a breath of fresh air when you find a service repair man who knows what he is doing. Doug did me a solid and came out same day to help me in a breaker bind. Install of 6 ceiling fans took just a couple hours. All integrated with Alexa correctly first time out. He covered all of the work area with plastic, left no mess, and took the garbage with him!

I went to the trusty Request A Quote feature on Yelp to find an electrician for a reasonable price. After a receiving a few bids on the job I needed done, I went with Windy Hill, and very happy I did. I liked that he was pretty transparent from the get go on all the variables that could affect the price of the job, i.e. height of the ceiling, weight of the light fixture, and more.

Not only was he available the next day and super speedy in his response, Doug did a fantastic and thorough job installing my new chandelier. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and wants to ensure it's perfect. He even measured the newly installed light several times to be sure it was even from every angle. I think it's probably a good quality to be a perfectionist when it comes to installing electrical devices, don't you?

He even discarded the box the new chandelier came in and happily moved the old one to my garage. The whole process only took an hour and he was so courteous and professional, too. I'll need some more work done soon and will definitely be calling Windy Hill.

I thought I could install an automatic light switch timer myself - until there was a flash and a bang and the power went out... It was Saturday morning on Memorial Holiday weekend and I went to Yelp.

Several places were ""closed"" and I happened upon Windy Hill; they were open. I called...and Doug answered! I explained my situation and I heard a sigh, followed by, ""Unfortunately I'm booked up for today and through next Tuesday."" I asked if he knew anyone else. He said not off the top of his head since it was the holiday weekend. He then asked what my problem was. I explained and, after a pause, he asked where I lived. I said Cedar Park. Another pause. He said give him a couple of hours and he'll try to come round later.

Doug called back two hours later, saying he was done with his appointments, and asked if I still needed help. I did. I'm a landlord, only visiting for the weekend, and couldn't leave the house like this - the tenants couldn't get in or out. Doug said he'd be there in 20 mins. He was.

He quickly diagnosed the problem (amateur-hour on my part!!) and fixed it within an hour. He could have gouged me on the pricing, due to my circumstances, but I felt his price was reasonable.

I was/am very grateful to Doug - he put himself out to help a fellow person in distress, and this is the kind of service I love to see. I highly recommend him and will be using him going forward for my electrical needs. Thanks Doug!

BTW, this is a real review. I don't know Doug from Adam. This did happen...
