The power to the kitchen was low, and the microwave wasn't working. Two different electricians gave me bids for running new wires, and adding circuits. Called Mat, turned out it was the wire from the street, to the panel which was causing the problem! Saved me over 1000 dollars.
Just used him to add a new breaker box on a rental. His prices are very reasonable, he returns calls, and he does excellent work!

It's difficult to find good people. Matt is definitely a keeper. Finally a normal kind a guy who is down to earth, easy to talk to, doesn't take advantage of people, is highly skilled and explains what he's doing as he's working in your house. He adjusts his schedule to yours as much as possible, and he's very affordable. I can most definitely recommend Matt for all your electrical needs.

I called Matt because I had a plumber come to install my dishwasher, and he refused to hook up the electricity because the wiring behind the dishwasher was in very bad shape. He came out the very next day, was pleasant, courteous, di a beautiful job replacing the old wiring and gave me a nice new plug. When I had trouble locating where my husband put the checkbook he said, ""oh don't worry you can mail it to me."". Where in this world today do you find people like that? I fortunately found the aforementioned checkbook and wrote out the very reasonable fee $81.00 for about an hour of work. I will recommend him to all my friends. He was quite a find, thanks to Yelp!

We called Matt Wilson of Wilson Electric after reading his reviews on Yelp to install fluorescent lights in our garage. He did a really professional job. He has excellent foresight, he did several repairs on the existing wiring that have made out future project of putting drywall easier.

There were several occasions where he could have easily increased his scope of job and got more money from us. However, he chose to give us advice based on efficiency of the job that would be more economical for us.

The job took slightly more time than we expected (because we asked him to do more work than we had planned for), but he gave us some discount, which was very nice of him.

I think his prices are fair and he is very affordable. You might find electricians with lower rates, but they might not be as efficient as Matt so eventually you would save by going with him.

We are surely calling him for our future electrical projects.

I've had Matt do several jobs for me that were out of my scope, each time he is prompt, quick, friendly, and always answers all of my questions (and I ask alot). Most recently (today) I had an issue with a few switches in my house, I called him last night and he said he could swing by today between jobs... He came over and solved the problem in 20 minutes, great work!!! I'd highly recommend him to anyone that needs any electrical work done.

Really nice guy. He explained the situation in a way that was not condescending in the least and informative. When I first called him, he told me to do a few things (free of charge) and if that didn't work, he would swing by and see what the problem was. He did, found the problem, fixed it quickly and at a very fair price. He's great, I recommend him to anyone.

I called Wilson Electric--based on Yelp comments by others--and left a message. The boss called me back a few hours later. After hearing me describe my electrical problems, he proceeded to seriously explain to me how I could fix the problem myself; but the process still sounded too intimidating to me. This is a far cry from the response I got from one electrician who quoted me an hourly rate and refused to tell me anything else.

In the end, I went with another electrician who responded sooner; but the boss' courtesy in advising me of my problem over the phone will prompt me to call on Wilson Electric the next time I need a problem fixed.

Mr. Wilson was very professional. His prices were fair . Matt took his time to explain to me what my home needed to come up to code, he also worked out a payment plan that was affordable . I would recommend Mr.Wilson to any person lokkin for a fair contractor
