I had my comp shingle roofing removed and replaced and had a new solar panel system installed. The price was reasonable and the installation was professional, clean and collaborative. Mason was an incredible communicator. He told me what would happen at each stage. He would text me whenever they needed to go into the house. They cleaned up very nicely. Highly recommend this team in the Cambria area.

We had a problem spot on our roof. With every rain, it leaked into our ceiling. We called Wicks out every time. They would ""repair"" and we would pay, but with the next rain, same leak. Finally, they told me we needed a completely new roof. At a cost of just under $30,000, we hired them. They finished, we paid. When it rained last month, SAME LEAK in the SAME SPOT. They sent a crew out and said, ""oops, we missed a spot.""
The customer service is awful. Three times this year they gave us a time that they / their crews / their representative would be at our home, and all three times, they didn't show up.
Go ANYWHERE else. Anywhere. Hire anyone but this company. We feel they lied about all of the repair work they ""did"" (didn't do) and then got us to agree to a new roof which - with the first rain - leaked.

I understand roofers are very busy. Wicks really let us down. Estimater came as planned, was told I'd hear back in 2 weeks and did. Signed the estimate and called several days after, was told scheduling will get back to me soon. 2 weeks later and a few more very polite calls finally connected me to scheduler. Said they're a month out, would call me in a day or two, thanked her profusely. Then crickets. Guess a $2500 job isn't worth their time, would've appreciated them telling me. They came highly recommended by my neighbors who now know better. Poor Rosie at the front desk - great person who has to deal with such indifference. Happy ending - SLO County Roofers got the job done promptly and for a better price!

I am an insurance agent and we had a mutual client that needed her roof replaced and photo documentation to be sent to the insurance company. Wicks was very responsive to both the client and our office.. They did a great and timely job on her roof replacement. Wicks also went out of their way to make sure we had photos of the completed project( 2 story roof), so the insured could keep her insurance...

A Wick's Roofing truck was driving behind me today. It passed me over double yellow lines for no reason and then later, passed the car in front of it over double yellow lines for no reason. The max amount of time gained was 1-2 seconds when they decided to turn.

Then I went on their website, and they list themselves as a 5-star Yelp business. That's a lie. They have 3.6 stars.

I don't trust this company at all.

This company was spot-on for us for solar installation. They did what they said in a timely manner. All of the employees we had contact with were polite, friendly and conducted themselves as professionals. This extended from the top to the people doing the labor. The work product was excellent. Instal was quick and looks clean. I was consulted on things before hand vs. just doing what they wanted. Very appreciated.
A special shout-out for Garrett who one, answered his phone or text messages promptly and had someone get back to me just as quickly. Ethan and Victor for their great attitudes, industry knowledge and explaining things so a non-solar tec guy can understand.

Fraudulent! Over 6 months after the initial bid/contract, they came to ""fix"" our roof; place flashing and replace subfloor. The workers worked for an hour or two, replaced some boards and left.

Well the leak is the same or worse, no flashing was placed, no check of leak done. We asked Wicks to send out DIFFERENT workers as the first ones were un-cooperative and barely spoke english. They sent the same workers out, and they were very rude, and refused to do anything, claiming they had finished their job.

We have filed a complaint with the BBB and they are ignoring the BBB.

Now they're filing a lien against the home. We just want them to do what they promised! How many times do you have to ask politely to get someone to do their job?

I called for roofing and solar and Wick's roofing gave me a date and time for 2 weeks out for when they would be out to do a walk around and give us a quote . My wife and I took the day off i called 2 days before to confirm are appointment and time they would be out to are home I got a text message as well confirming are appointment . After waiting all morning I called 15 minutes before 12:00 for lunch time and no answer got voicemail saying they were at lunch from 12-1 pm I only called because we haven't heard from them they are late by a hour a haven't called to let us know what's happening. I called Santa Barbra office and canceled . If a contractor can't be on time for an estimate then they won't be on time for the work or completion of their work . Terrible customer service they get one star because it doesn't go any lower

Wicks Solar and roofing completed their work on my home. the new roof looks great and the solar is working like a charm! Great install crew, supervisors and office staff.
