I've called on White Electric a number of times for bulbs for my business and each time they've been efficient at getting me just the bulb I want, often having to special order, even from Germany, for some special low-energy usage bulbs.

In fact, I'm on the phone with them right now about a bunch of hard to find ceiling fan bulbs!

I called White Electric Company to fix the track lights in my condo in Berkeley. My electrician pointed out that one of the fixtures had burn out and in all practicality, I should go to the store and just buy a replacement myself. He showed me how to remove the part and reattach it so I could later do it myself with the new fixture. He also recommended three places I could go to purchase the part I needed.

Overall, I was pleased that he proposed the least costly solution and didn't try to rip me off. When I first called White Electric, I was expecting that I'd have to replace the whole track light system, which would have cost much more. So I don't begrudge being charged the minimum 1 hour fee for this short visit. You can trust them and you can expect about $70/hr charge.
