Jamie and Rains showed up promptly on time and ready to rock. I knew we made the right choice with this local business when they greeted us with a smile and nice firm handshakes. We had some outdoor ceiling fans that needed checking and they got to the bottom of the problem lickity split as well as improving the previous installers work. Friendly conversation and some helpful tips later they cleaned up their tools, presented the easy payment and off they went to help another house in need.
Their business card is now laminated, photographed and on speed dial for any electrical needs we may have in the future. Small town feeling service with vast knowledge. If we could go above 5 stars we would. We hope to not need their services again, but if we do, we are in good hands.

PEC and Ed Wheat viewed the meeter that needs to be replaced. Ed said, he would work up the estimate and email it. . We conversed a couple of times and then Ed would not return my calls or email the estimate. That was 3 months ago.

We have used Wheat Electric for both installing additional outlets on our back patio and putting in a transfer switch for our backup generator. Both times the service was on time, professional, efficient and very customer friendly. Pricing is fair and commensurate with the project. Troy and Nick are extremely knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. They confirmed that all of our questions were answered, offered valuable information that we hadn't thought to ask and fully demonstrated that equipment functionality was as we wanted/expected. We highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again for future electrical projects.

totally redid the electrical in my well house here in Blanco, set up my generators, fixed other things that were not working correctly... These guys can do it all and we're so pleasant to work with and did such a great job of explaining things to me so that if I am in an emergency situation and have to turn on my generators I confidently feel like I could do it myself. Wheat electric was extremely responsive and maintained excellent communication until our project was completed. The technicians were very personable and knowledgeable completing the task in a timely manner. The attention to detail was evident and the clean up was second to none. Hiring local companies seem to bring with it a higher sense of accountability knowing it is highly likely they will see you in the community. Troy and his assistant has come to our home three times now. First he installed a closet light and three floodlights. He's also since replaced a vintage bathroom ceiling heater. We were impressed each time with his professionalism and manners. We highly recommend Wheat Electric!

This is the second time we have used Wheat Electrical. Once during the holidays where I failed to cover the ends of the outdoor light plugs and we blew a fuse on one side of our house! I called several companies and no one could come for several days. Ed answered the phone and was working out of town on a job but sent someone to our house within 2 hours. Today he came over to install ceiling fans and he and his helper, Jose were both so polite.
Wheat Electric will always be the first company I call for any electrical needs!!!

Ed did an awesome job! When he came to fix our heartland machine I could tell he knew what he was doing and he was very honest. He worked diligently for 2 days and got it fixed for us. We are so thankful we found Ed Wheat, and will not hesitate to call in the future. We had other electricians come try to fix the issues for us but it was to no avail. We are very happy with the service that we received!
