I am very picky about my home and who I allow in my home. After having an electrical issue I had no choice but to research my available choices. I noticed that Westside electrical had some of the best ratings on Yelp. That meant either they had friends pad their reviews or they are worthy of the stars they have received. I decided to take a chance on giving my top two choices a call. As you guessed it my first call was booked up for the year it's only December 19th! I made a call to Westside and they were booked too! However they said they would make it work. They finished a job in Newberry park and came to my home. They showed up with an up beat attitude and a presentable appearance. In minutes they diagnosed the problem a short in the attic which caused a GFI to go bad. I was very happy that they were not the average electricians who scratched their heads while the money clock was ticking. It was more about fixing the issue rather than about the money.... I have added them to my contacts and will be using them in the event I have another electrical issue. Your home is probably your biggest investment you will ever make. When it comes to maintenance, why take chances with electrical issues. Your life and property depend on someone who knows what they are doing,
break bread and live worry free. I sure am glad my fist call was too busy. West Siyed!

Called Pat to install 2 outdoor garage lights and replace all existing exterior lanterns and when he came over, I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise. I ended up hiring them and they didn't disappoint me. I have now added them in my contact list.

I found this company on Yelp and it definitely deserves 5 stars. Pat was able to come to my house within a couple of hours of me placing a call. He was very knowledgable and had a great attitude. I would definitely recommend this company and will contact them for any future electrical needs.

We blew an outlet in one of our bathrooms and had to find an electrician - after hours. I found Westside Electric here on Yelp and read all the 5 star reviews and decided to give them a call.

I talked to Pat and he was very helpful, trying to help me troubleshoot our problem. When we figured out it couldn't be fixed via phone, Pat said he would come by in the morning.

Pat came by and checked our breakers. After his initial inspection, he talked to us re an issue w the breakers that should be addressed. He explained why it was an issue and how we, or anyone we know, could fix it ourselves. But knowing how we and electricity don't get along, we decided to have him fix it for us.

Pat then went to check on the outlet that blew and showed us what was wrong - why it blew. Turned out we were lucky.

We are the first owners of our house and the wiring - as well as the outlets have never been updated in 40+ years. Pat pointed out where the wire melted when it blew. He also said the outlets and such should be updated every 30 years. Hearing how it could have melted in the walls and possibly started a fire... Scary stuff.

Needless to say, we made an appointment to have all of our outlets and switches updated. That happened today. The workers, Jake and - I forgot - who showed up were very professional, personable and friendly. They got the job done, checked to make sure the light switches worked and cleaned up after themselves.

I am so glad I found W. S. E. on Yelp. And now I can leave my 5 star review!

I worked with WSE on a major electrical project. We did a panel upgrade, rewired the house, and installed recessed lighting in several areas throughout the house... and a dedicated outlet with a timer set up in the eaves specifically for our christmas lights. :)

Aaron, Pat, and Curt were very patient and worked with me to plan out every detail, were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and all around great to work with. I am rarely inspired to write a Yelp review, but in this case I felt I had to give them a shout out. Thanks guys!
