In 2016, Scott installed a NEMA 14-50 charging outlet at my house and it's been perfect ever since. In 2021 he remotely diagnosed a problem which I was able to get fixed by DWP. There was no charge. And today, he remotely diagnosed a problem with charging my Tesla. Tesla told me that I had a problem with my NEMA 14-50, since charging with my Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) at the service center worked and supercharging worked. Scott directed me how to test the NEMA 14-50 using my voltmeter, and we proved that it was fine. Scott offered me a same-day appointment if that turned out to be needed.

I went back to Tesla and got a new UMC and that fixed the problem.

Scott was available by phone today at 6:30am to diagnose this problem and we talked at least four times during this process. He could not have been more helpful and was happy for me that I did not have an electrical problem. Bottom line - West LA Electric and Scott are trustworthy, prompt, and helpful. They are the only firm in LA that I would call if I have an electrical issue.

avoid at all costs . complete and utter con artists. they will rip you off. there are many who have been had by these incompetent thieves. they bill for electric work that they deliberately make worse . i have never had an experience with a company as bad as this one.

At the beginning of June I had a Tesla charger installed by Scott and Lou and it was a great experience from start to finish. First when they came over to give me a quote: it was immediately apparent that they were professional and gave me good advice and a good price. Then on the day of the installation they were efficient and courteous and I'm very happy with the result, both in the way it works and in the way it looks (cables neatly installed through the crawl space instead of over the roof like the other companies had suggested). I would definitely recommend West LA electric to anyone looking for honest and reliable electricians.

Scott and Louie were amazing! They were prompt, so nice and up front with their rates. They replaced an exterior light fixture and looked at two other fixtures that were running dim. UPDATE: After posting an honest review, Scott started sending me scary, aggressive texts to my personal number and calling me names. Please avoid this person and this company. Read the other one star reviews who complain about the same thing.
