We have used West Coast Electric to hang 4 ceiling fans, 5 sconces, a chandelier, and 4 lighting fixtures. If ever there was a problem or question about something, they promptly took care of us. The team is super friendly, knowledgeable and they will work with you until the job is complete. They don't ignore you just because they already have your cash in their pockets. They stay on task until the very end. Highly recommend them!

I had Chris Bailey of West Coast Electric Solutions do a whole house re-wire, new lighting throughout, and a panel upgrade on a recent remodel project. Not only did Chris and his team do an exceptional job, they were prompt, professional, courteous, and above all, the pricing was more than fair.
West Coast Electric Solutions has completed numerous remodel projects for me and I would highly recommend them. His hourly rate is more than fair and comparable to other electrical contractors at his level. Remember that when you hire a contractor for a general service call you are paying for their travel time, their experience in tracking down the problem in a timely manner, their insurance cost, licensing costs, travel expense, truck, tools, etc.
If you are charged the minimum amount for a service call ($150) then you should walk away knowing that it was money well spent. I have had other electrical contractors spend hours trying to find problems that Chris and his team found in minutes. On more than one occasion Chris and his team had the extra parts necessary to do the repair on their truck, thus avoiding the cost of traveling to the supply house.

I called Chris to check out my kitchen circuit since I had heard that he had experience fixing electrical problems in several units in my condo complex. Chris never came out, but he sent 2 other guys instead who changed out a circuit breaker to repair the problem.

I was surprised that the bill was $168.35 which included a $150 charge for the visit. When I asked Chris about this he said that $150 is the MINIMUM charge that he charges for any service call. The guys were in my place for less than 10 minutes and replaced a circuit breaker that was $16.99 so I feel like the $150 was a bit excessive. If you call him, be forewarned that you will be charged $150 just for the visit.
