Mike was the only electrician who came out on a same day (Saturday) notice and moved an outlet for me that was going to be covered by my new base cabinets. Sure it was a small job, but nevertheless he came out and did it while everyone else either charged and arm and a leg or simply didnt have time to. Give West Coast Electric a call!

Easily managed to reposition a power outlet embedded into a cabinet above the microwave that was blocking our planned attic ventilation ducting. Checked for studs in the wall and made sure to receive permission before any wood cutting in the cabinet.

Polite and kept up conversation with me while he worked. Finished the job cleanly and took care of most of the sawdust and cut wood parts made during the process. Made the nightmare of the duct installation possible after it had hung over our heads for so many years. Was done and on his way in about an hour's time.

He found the problem in minutes. He changed the switch that had burned out and since it was a double switch, he changed both switches for no extra charge, which was nice to avoid another problem. I actually found this business on Yelp. I'm a Realtor and we do quite a bit of property management and we have been having problems finding a reliable licensed electrician. I called them last week, explained the situation and gave them the tenants contact info. They were there the same day, they diagnosed the problem and repaired it for a fair price. I had an electrical outlet go out with smoke coming out of it. Searched the web and found West Coast Electric. After reading the reviews I called and spoke to Mike. He was very professional and gave me a same day appt.. When he came out he was very courteous and explained what happened and what he was doing so that a novice like myself could understand. Many places use fancy words so that it sounds like it's a bigger problem that allows them to charge you more. That's not Mike. He replaced the outlet, made sure there was nothing else wrong and gave me a quote on future work. If you need electrical work done call Mike. He won't let you down.

We had half our house electrics go out suddenly. I looked on the WEB and saw West Coast Electric was located in the city where I live. I placed a call and spoke to ""Mike"" who told me that he would come over and take a look.

He was right on time.

We agreed that he would do the work. Mike came on the day we agreed to (on time) and worked hard to find the problem. It turned out to be an Edison problem. He called Edison and told them what was wrong, They sent a truck to install new lines from the pole. Mike stayed to make sure everything was installed correctly.

I also had him do other work around the house (new lights, electrical boxes, etc.)
