I had been calling around for a week trying to get a ceiling fan replaced. Asking for estimates, all I got from other places were variations on: ""We can't give you an estimate until we get there and evaluate and we charge a $75 fee to come out."" Could they give me a ballpark price? No, they said.
So I had one of these scammers out. The technician hands me a form to sign, then immediately turns to me and says: ""That will be $450.00.""
I told him to get the [expletive] out of my house. Seriously,he didn't look at the wiring or anything. They knew what they wanted to charge before they came out.

Then I talked to Mike at West Coast Electric. I asked, ""How much to replace a ceiling fan?"" He immediately quoted a very, very reasonable price, baring anything unusual he would have to do.

Mike and Joey came out and were friendly and professional --even with me acting all suspicious because of the other companies who shall remain nameless.

They got the job done quickly, were spot on time, and did good work for a fair price. I will have them back when I need more electrical work done.

An electrical outlet in my garage was occasionally sparking and power to the outlet was turning on and off. Called Mike and the next day he came out and fixed the problem. Mike is very courteous and shows you the old parts and work completed. We also spoke about future work in my home and he gave us advice to save us money. Will definitely call him in the future for any electrical issues.
