After a few months of waiting on parts for a generator / interlock install they confirmed parts had arrived then stopped responding to texts on performing the install.

The first problem is there's no person to talk to. When you call, a pre-recorded voice directs you to a website to set an appointment. When Kevin was late for the appointment, I had no one to ask if he was on the way or not.

He did eventually show up and we discussed the job, parts needed, and he quoted the price. He said he would get back to me once he had located all the parts.

He never called, emailed, or contacted me after that. I tried to follow up but again, there wasn't a live person to speak to. I set another appointment on the website but there was no response.

This is an unprofessional way to run a service. Showing up late, lack of communication before and after the appointment, and taking personal calls during the walk through. I would give zero stars if I could.

Yep answered phone gave good quote and then never showed never replied to text never called back. This is 2nd electrican to do this. If your over scheduled say so people have lives and make plans around appointments now my whole morning was wasted waiting.

My dining room light stopped working randomly - I replaced the transformer myself and diagnosed it as much as I knew how, but it still didn't work. I gave up and turned to Yelp, where I found Wendt Electric. I called Kevin, who was very friendly and professional, for an appointment.

The appointment:
- Kevin did not come out, it was a younger gentleman, who showed up 2 hours late. I had to call to call them (twice) to find out if he was actually on the way. It turns out another client made him run behind - okay, it happens.
- Logan checked the transformer and all of the connections for about an hour and came to the same conclusion I had... he has no idea what's wrong. Maybe the transformer wasn't an exact replacement?
- I was told they'd take my transformer, find an exact replacement, and let me know how much it will cost - I have yet to hear back from them and that was 2 months ago.

- Cost? $110. For literally nothing. My light is still broken, I haven't heard back AT ALL, they took my transformer, they were 2 hours late. I've tried to call, but his voicemail is full. I've texted - no reply. This is a prime example of why I just try to do everything myself.

I guess you have to leave a bad Yelp review to get service. Ball is in your court, Kevin.

I have literally called them over 20 times and not gotten a single answer. I've left multiple message and never gotten a call back. Not sure how they expect to keep their business running if they won't respond to people.

Kevin came out and I was told they would have to return the next day. It was obvious he didn't want to do the job. However, we made an appointment for then and he never showed up. He would not answer the phone or call me back and never came back to do the job. Unfortunately they only post the good reviews so I was conned into believing he was a reputable contractor. What a way to conduct business. Pathetic.

Kevin came out to repair an issue, the issue remains, lights don't come on. Telephone calls and texts do not get a response from him, if he returns and fixes the issue will up the stars, should have read the reviews on Google, they are complaining of the same issue we have.

Beyond disappointment, safety is a paramount concern. Yes the company has been paid.

I was smack-dab in the middle of a master bath remodel, with the electrical work the next thing to happen before drywall could start. The electrician who had said he would do the work was suddenly not available. I checked Yelp, called a few, and Wendt Electric was the ""first responder""... Not only that, they could be there within hours! Mr. Wendt arrived, reviewed the scope of the work, gave me a good price, and he and his helper started work immediately, I simply couldn't ask for better service than I received. They were polite, efficient, and helped trouble-shoot a difficult fan installation, coming up with a great solution. They will now be on my permanent contact list!

I have been moving sprinklers around trying to keep my yard alive and my pool was turning green. I found Kevin Wendt on yelp. I recommend him highly. He was very professional and solved my problem very quickly. He is my new electrician!
