Tony Wells is a sharp, honest and efficient electrician. He does excellent and reasonable work.

I had called in on Friday afternoon to have someone come out and install an outlet. First thing Monday morning Daniel was here to do the job, but I wasn't because I forgot about the early meeting. Daniel was here at 8:00 and I didn't get here until 9:00. I gave him a call back when I got in, figuring he had already left, but he didn't! He was still downstairs waiting to be let up! I felt so bad, but he reassured me that it was okay and got right to work. He was unbelievably nice and so understanding. Plus he did a fabulous job! I HIGHLY recommend Well's and really appreciate the great people they employ! Great job guys and keep up the good work!

I called Wells to help fix the timer on the neighboring building's incredibly loud fan (long story). Jason came twice, patiently spent a good long time determining that the timer was fine but was being tampered with, installed a padlock and came back a few weeks later to give me the keys, at which time he installed the trick lightbulb in my own house that I was unable to figure out. For free. The whole thing wasn't free. It wasn't even cheap, but it was very fine service.

I found Wells Electrical as a recommendation from a friend. Well, my friend was right on, these guys are great! Okay, so I'm pretty persnikity when it comes to strangers in the house...especially on a repeated basis. If you're going to have a stranger in your house for extensive electrical needs, it wouldn't get better than Daniel. He's the man. He's accommodating, helpful, hard-working and a great presence. The electrical needs were all well-addressed. When an extra request for a doorbell came out of nowhere, it was done immediately and without any fuss. Seriously, these guys are wonderful on many levels.

I heartily recommend them for small and large complex electrical jobs. They are excellent! n Yes they are expensive but you get what you pay for! I have had a massive amount of work done by them and I am very pleased. Staff are respectful, the electricians are very professional and the owners are gems. They respond and do try to assign staff as soon as possible most places, put you off, don't explain what your options are and then still charge the standard cost for a professional electrician! I think Wells Electrical has a great work ethic, maybe it is that most are from New Zealand.

Tony and his team are incredible. They have been doing some semi-major work at my residence. Each day they have totally cleaned up, the guys are concerned that they aren't too intrusive, have worked with me to minimize the outages. I couldn't say enough about how great they are. I can't speak to the cost of the job as I'm not paying for it.
I am having them do a small job for me while they are here and the cost is very reasonable and Tony has made every effort to accommodate my needs.
I would highly recommend them.

This is the second time I have used Wells Electrical for two major projects. Both projects involved installing radiant electric baseboard heat through two story houses and both projects took 1.5-2 weeks to complete. Electricity is probably the single largest dangerous thing you have in your house and if not done correctly can burn your house down, injure your family or at best cause extreme annoyance as circuits trip. If you are looking for a discount operation this is not one of them and I did get sticker shock when the first installation cost me over $10k but there are lots of intangibles with Wells Electric. Unlike most contractors these are guys you can trust to do the job quickly, neatly (no mess afterwards), safely and we had zero issues with theft or worries about safety for my family after 3 weeks of combined work in our house. His entire team is from New Zealand and they all happen to be rugby players. They might look big and tough but after spending three weeks with them I would trust any of them to take care of my two kids. On our second job we called Grant on a short one week notice and he was willing to work with the building inspectors to pick up the permits and was given full access to our house while we were gone on vacation and finished the job with zero issues and minimal instruction. The house was immaculate when we got back and they took great pains to minimize the number of holes cut into my drywall. I can not tell you how good I feel about Wells Electrical knowing my family was safe and we could trust them with full access to our house.
I read the review of the person who was shocked about the $100 bill and I must say I had a hard time controlling my laughter. Electricians are highly trained and unlike plumbers actually have to think given the dangers of the medium they work in. If a plumber messes up you get a messy clean up, if an electrician messes up you or your family can die. If you can't get a plumber to come over to your house without spending $100 how do you expect an electrician to come over without being charged. I would ignore Marobin L.'s review as she clearly doesn't understand what things cost.

Wells Electric did such a great job at my home, that I recommended to do the wiring on the buildout at my office. We continue to use them for all of our electrical needs. They are reasonably priced, do great work and are really nice guys! They also arrive on time and leave the place looking tidy when they leave!

Wells Electrical was the second electrian I called. The first one could not figure out the problem and said that he would be back later, but he never got back to me. Anyways, I called Wells on New Years Eve at 3:30 PM and Tony rang my door bell at 4:15 PM that same evening. I thought that he would postpone my appt till next week because it was already late in the day but he came. I probably got lucky but he gets 5 stars for being fast and dedecated to his business. Tony figured out the problem in 30 minutes and fixed it in 15 minutes. I was watching him and he followed a very logical process to diagnose the problem. I do not know exactly what he did but it started in the breaker panel, then investigated near by outlets. He found a loose connection in the first outlet he pulled apart. I can tell that experinece came into play here so he gets another 5 stars for residental electrical experience. The first electrician I called was pushing reset buttons in the bathroom for a circuit in the kitchen. As for the price. I paid 157.50 for about 45 minutes of work and it was all worth it. I would rather pay someone for an hour and a half and get the job done in 45 mins. than spend nothing and waste 2 hours of my day. I now have a working kitchen light and microwave.

The team was helpful, knowledgeable and able to solve my electrical problem with efficiency and professionalism yet with personable approach.
It seems all reviews for this business reflect the same feedback - bar one. To the lady who wrote the negative review: ALL contractors or local service providers have service call charge for troubleshooting. And the standard is 1.5 hours.
Maybe the first company you called did not charge you for a service call, because they were not able to solve your problem....
Thanks Wells Team! I know whom I shall call if ever I have another electrical problem. I recommend you without hesitation.
