Weatherwax Electric was founded in the small town of Kailua on the island of Oahu in 1953. At that time, Kailua was known as ""country"" and a one-stop sign where the residents knew each other in a tight-knit way.

We commenced caring for the electrical needs of Kailua residents over half a century ago when there were more cows than people in Kailua! Regular home milk delivery was offered by Campos Dairy, whose livestock wandered in spacious pastures throughout the local area where today customers enjoy visiting at Macy's and Longs Drug.
