Weatherwax Electric started in the charming town of Kailua on the island of Oahu in 1953. Back then, Kailua was viewed as ""country"" and a one-stop sign where everyone knew each other in a tight-knit way.

Our journey started serving the power needs of Kailua families over 55 years ago when there were more livestock than residents in Kailua! Routine home milk delivery was available by Campos Dairy, whose livestock wandered in spacious pastures throughout the community where today shoppers enjoy visiting at Macy's and Longs Drug.
