In 1953, Weatherwax Electric was founded in the charming rural town of Kailua on the island of Oahu.
Kailua was once a ""country"" town with only one stop sign, where the community was small and everyone knew each other well.
For over 55 years, we have been serving the electrical needs of Kailua's community, a time when there were more cows than residents!
Campos Dairy provided daily milk deliveries, with cows roaming the vast pastures in the valley where today’s customers shop at Macy's and Longs Drug.

Pauline M.Weatherwax Electric is AWESOME! I called Clarence mid-morning to come out to our home to diagnose and fix an outage that we had with some of our plugs. We made an appointment for a little after 4pm that afternoon. Clarence stated, based on my description of the problem, that he would be able to diagnose the problem within the first hour and hopefully fix it soon after. True to his word, Clarence was at our home shortly after 4pm and got to work. Not only did he diagnose the problem in less than an hour, but he finished the job that afternoon! He saved our home from an electrical fire that could have burnt down the house and possibly jeopardized our lives!!!
Yes, he does charge a bit more for his service, but we found Clarence to be a man of integrity - he is fair and upfront in his estimate and pricing. From now on, we will count on Clarence for any of our electrical needs!
