Weatherwax Electric started in the quaint town of Kailua on Oahu in 1953.
Back then, Kailua was a ""country"" locale with a single stop sign, where residents knew each other in a tight-knit, small-town manner.
For more than 55 years, we have been addressing the electrical requirements of Kailua's residents, back when cows outnumbered people!
Daily milk deliveries were made by Campos Dairy, whose cows grazed freely across the expansive pastures in the valley where today’s shoppers frequent Macy's and Longs Drug.

Pauline M.Weatherwax Electric is AWESOME! I called Clarence mid-morning to come out to our home to diagnose and fix an outage that we had with some of our plugs. We made an appointment for a little after 4pm that afternoon. Clarence stated, based on my description of the problem, that he would be able to diagnose the problem within the first hour and hopefully fix it soon after. True to his word, Clarence was at our home shortly after 4pm and got to work. Not only did he diagnose the problem in less than an hour, but he finished the job that afternoon! He saved our home from an electrical fire that could have burnt down the house and possibly jeopardized our lives!!!
Yes, he does charge a bit more for his service, but we found Clarence to be a man of integrity - he is fair and upfront in his estimate and pricing. From now on, we will count on Clarence for any of our electrical needs!
