Overall great experience. I reached out to Watson's on a Sunday (the one day they're closed) and still got a response from the owner immediately. Brian was knowledgeable and walked me through the process and permits required to install an EV charger (Tesla Wall Connector). I bought the charger myself and he was able to come out in my requested time frame to do the install and walk me through the online set up (this also included handling all the permits with the city). Would definitely recommend.

I had a Gen 3 Tesla Wall Connector installed and it was an excellent experience with Watson's Charging Stations & Electric! I shopped around quotes and found Brian to be totally professional, courteous, and prompt with answering questions by email or phone. He arrived promptly, maintained a clean worksite in the garage, and installed the charger fairly quickly. We got to chat for some time while we waited for the city inspector to sign off on the permitted work. I'd highly recommend talking to Brian about your needs, as I plan to have him back to replace breakers and install some ceiling fans in my home.

Brian did an excellent job of installing our charging station for my new car. I had lots of questions, but Brian was very patient and explained everything to me. He got the permits from the city within two weeks. The actual installation was done in a couple of hours. He had to wait for quite a while for the inspector to come. Everything was fine. Brian is a very pleasant young man and easy to talk with. I definitely recommend him for any kind of electrical work.

Everything was great! I found Brian on Yelp to install my Tesla Wall Connector Generation 3. From beginning to end he did a fantastic job. He knew exactly what he doing from the very beginning and the completed job was spectacular. He helped me set-up my Connector in a matter of minutes. What can I say about Brian and Watson's Charging Station? TOP NOTCH INSTALLATION & SERVICE! Would recommend to ANYONE who is looking to get a level 2 charger installed at their home! They were able to do the work where I'm at - Hayward, CA

For context: I found them through Enel X's website with their partnered electrician for installation. We chose the Juicebox 40 for our charging needs.

Watson's reached out to me on Oct 4 (at least that's the earliest date in my email, can't remember if they called 1 day before that).

My request was: PURCHASE of the charger (they have the option of handling the purchase), installation via hardwire, PULL PERMITS (cheaper if you know how to get this done, I do not hence why I requested) and arrange for inspection. Total $2130, others I've gotten was like similar to this cost w/o factoring the cost of the charger.

I got my quote from them but wanted to shop around first. It wasn't until Oct 20 when I decided to pull the trigger with them. Installation occurred on Nov 18 with the actual installation taking 1-2hrs I think?

So all in all, maybe just under 1 month for the whole thing (not including me shopping around)? Of course could be faster I think if i went with them right away and also depends on your city's turn around for permits but IMHO seemed pretty decent time.

On install day: Brian arrived promptly (actually a little early, I didn't mind). Clearly explained the plan for the day and got started. Gave me quick updates during the installation and he came across a potential future problem: our panel had some water getting inside!

At this point the installation was already finished and we were playing the waiting game for the inspector. He did some investigating and had some theories about the cause and would make sure he could resolve the problem (or escalate to PG&E if he could not fix it) - again he was very transparent in his line of thinking. Once the inspector came and approved, Brian went off to the local hardware store to get some clear silicone to seal up potential water entryways and the theorized culprit, paid close attention to detail as well.

I have nothing but praise for Brian and Watson's Charging station and would recommend them to anyone for their service and cost. Cheers!

I'm very happy with the Tesla charger that's now in our garage and I have Brian to thank for it. He provided a better cost estimate than the other electrician I contacted and the job was done cleanly, quickly and properly with sign-off from the inspector.

Brian's work and pricing is excellent. His experience is well rounded and includes residential. He, also, did an excellent job on a historical adobe building, explaining and pointing out things that needed to done. He's prompt, easy to work with, and always gives a couple options for consideration. He's the one to go to first!!
