We had such a wonderful experience with Nick helping us with our electric problem. A terrible Electrical storm came through Palm Coast and put out our Wi-Fi, televisions, security alarm, and five or six rooms of electricity in our house, plus one of our AC units. Wanerka electric is the company to call when you need professional and courteous assistance. The price was right too! Nick worked on our house from seven till midnight on a Friday night helping us restore power. He is a genius with sorting out the source of the problem and repairing it. Thank you!!!

I just read the negative review posted. This is absolutely not the experience we have had with Wanerka. They have done numerous jobs for us and all have been quality work. There have been a couple of issues after installation but they come out and fix whatever is needed without charge. We just recommended them to our neighbors who were extremely happy with the work done. After reading the review, we found it as a lesson learned. When working with a contractor, ALWAYS make sure (in writing from the subcontractor) that the subcontractor has been paid in full before giving final 1/3 payment.

I have never given anyone a negative review, but feel that our experience with this company was so poor that others should be aware before choosing an electrical contractor to hire. We recently completed a remodel. We put over 100k into our house. Our contractor hired Wanerka to complete the electrical portion of our job. We paid our contractor a good chunk of money for the electrical work. We then decided to have additional electrical work done (primarily adding more recessed lights) and were billed directly by Wanerka for this job. Many items that should have been included in the initial scope of work by our contractor ended up being added to the additional invoice we were given by Wanerka rather than being paid to them by our contractor. We paid them an additional $3,500 for the work we added, in addition to the main part of the electrical work done as part of our original bid with our contractor. Throughout the entire project, which took over 8 months, we had a series of issues with the electricians. Without going through the entire list, we were left with a light installed in our kitchen ceiling in a location we did not ask for or approve of prior to it being installed, duplicate wall switches in the same location for the same lights, lights that no longer have switches to control them, newly installed recessed lights that do not work at all, newly installed recessed lights that make a horrible buzzing sound when on, ceiling fan/lights that do not have switches that work as they are supposed to, etc. Their electrician stepped through our newly textured and painted ceiling, causing a month delay waiting for the dry wall guy and painter to finish, during which time a subcontractor stole two tvs from our home, one of which was brand new in the box that had been delivered because we were planning to move in that week (prior to this delay). We were offered nothing for this added issue with our ceiling or the delay. There were numerous other problems as well and now the company claims that they were not paid in full and will not come back to address lights that they put in that do not work. We paid thousands of dollars and are left with a house that has been completely remodeled, yet I do not have lights in my kitchen that work. I would choose a different electrical contractor. I have since hired another electrician and paid for a home inspection of my home. I have been told by numerous people that they have no idea how our house passed inspection after this remodel and that we need to address unsafe electrical issues, which will be in the thousands of dollars.

They were willing to trouble shoot the issue over the phone with me to help save me the service call , took some looking on my part but the issue was found. I cant say how much I respect the fact they were willing to do that and give up a easy service call. They will be my first call for any further electrical work.
