I needed to replace 3 bathroom faucets. My neighbor is a plumber yet he's retiring and I had heard good things about Waialae Plumbing from friends and family.

Nate from Waialae Plumbing came by to help me install the 3 faucets. Our home had the cheap shut off valves with the plastic handles and the faucets would always drip even after it was closed using those valves. He suggested changing them to the ""1/4 turn"" type as they're much better than those cheap plastic ones.

Besides being very personable and professional, Nate didn't put any pressure on me to replace the shut off valves.

He provided me the cost ""up front"" for replacing each shut off valve and installation of the 3 faucets so there weren't any surprises after he was done.

Because they were old, the corrosion required him to cut off the mounting wingnuts on all 3 existing faucets! The saying ""you get what you pay for"" popped in my head yet for the piece of mind knowing that they stand behind their work put me at ease.

I will certainly use their services in the future.

Sometimes it pays to spend a little more and just fix the problem ""right"" the first time!

Shower drain and toilet both plugged up. Also suspected the shower valve was leaking because the floor was flooded. Managed to shut off the water supply to the house and avert the immediate emergency. Brian came @ 8 am the next morning to troubleshoot/fix the problem. Using a camera scope and specialized location finder, Brian, Mike and team determined the main sewer line was blocked with tree roots, pinpointed the blockage location, dug down to the pipe, cut and cleaned it out, installed new clean outs - all in one day!! All hands on deck! The shower valve was fine. We were so happy we could turn the water back on and have full use of our bathroom. Brian came back the next morning to replace the wax seal & reset the toilet.

Wonderful, quick service done with careful attention to detail. It was an expensive problem, but fair.

Quick response. Estimator was quite knowledgeable. But, they should get rid of their non refundable estimate charge. Although it is credited if you choose to use their services, their services can be quite high compared to other estimates, which may scare you off.

I needed to get my backflow device replaced because it failed the testing.
I got several quotes and Waialae Plumbing came through with a reasonable
one. This job was scheduled within a week of my call, and Matthew did a
great job in arriving on time and changing this backflow device. After he was done, he explained how to turn the water source on and off, and which knobs NOT to turn.
The ladies who answered the phone were also very friendly and helpful.
I'm glad that I found this company and would recommend it to others.

It feels like bait and switch. The guy who came out 2nd time was surprised no leak detection was done the first time. The way it was framed to me was since I have to charge you, why don't I unclog the drain so I agreed. My husband takes care of it all the time and it's free. Now you want me to pay again for the service I originally wanted? Discounted or not, it feels like I was misled.

My second experience with Waialae Plumbing proved to even surpass my initial one. I am an extremely happy customer. Wish there was an additional Star, cause 6 Stars would be more accurate. This was my second service call with technician Brian T., he will continue to be my requested Go-To-Guy.

A friend told me I should do the repairs myself; I don't think so.
Today I had the kitchen faucet replaced, the dishwasher removed, guest bathroom faucet (for shower/tub) replaced, and, last but not least, the handheld shower head's replaced in both bathrooms.
The two technicians who came were fast and efficient. Warren explained why I should have the old (and unused) dishwasher removed; I'd been considering it for a while. I now have extra kitchen storage space!
I'm embarrassed that I didn't get the other technician's name. While he tackled the kitchen faucet, Warren showed me why the guest bathroom bathtub faucet should be changed. I'd rather be proactive when it comes to plumbing issues.
They arrived early too and got right to work.

We had to replace our Koehler toilet. Warren was very accommodating in working with me and even snaked out the drain so our toilet could flush better. He and his partner unpacked the toilet and took away our broken one I highly recommend using Waialae Plumbing for your plumbing needs.
