I recently requested an estimate from Wagner Electric to install a new 220 outlet in my garage. The Wagner estimator showed up at my house at the agreed upon time and proceeded to research all the requirements necessary to feed a line from the far end of my house, where the breaker is, to my garage. I was told I would receive an estimate in my email soon. A couple days later I received the written estimate with the ability to authorize the installation directly in the attached document. Since the price seemed fair I accepted the estimate. I then received a call to schedule the installation which I did. The day of the scheduled installation Dave and Dylan from Wagner Electric arrived at my house a few minutes early, ready to get to work. Dave patiently explained the options I had available to me and after a few questions I made a selection from the options and they got to work. The work was completed quickly and professionally and I couldn't be happier with the results and the finished price was exactly what was quoted. I highly recommend Wagner Electric to anyone in need of a local electrician.

If you have lots of money to throw away and all the time in the world to spare, these are the guys to hire!
I am an elderly disabled person living in a Mobile Home Park who has had no power for a month now.

They came out 4 times in the last 4 weeks. The first 2 times they left after looking at wires with the excuse of not having a wire tracer. The 3rd time they restored power to other tenants and said that they will be back next Monday to work on my space. Monday came and went, No Show. Called them and they said they would be out Thursday. They showed up on Wednesday and left without talking to the park manager. Thursday, No Show and a call to them and having them again promise Monday next week to get it repaired! So out of 4 onsite visits so far, they only worked on a restoration of power to other tenants and I was the first to lose my power! 3 of the 4 visits we were charged for them to just come out and look around. Then they gave us excuses why they cannot perform the work (""I don't have a wire tracer"" or ""We are waiting on a contractor to help us""). Trying to get them to come out in a timely manner is virtually impossible. They come out about once a week and leave without resolving the issue.

I think that this future date of NEXT Monday is another lie that they are feeding the manager, the owner and myself, a disabled elderly tenant of the park.

I had a power issue at my house involving the main circuit. The crisis hit in the last week of June, which meant no AC just as triple-digit weather struck. Unfortunately, like all the trades around here, they had weeks of backlog and couldn't schedule anything until mid-July.

It was awful, but I had already planned a trip, so we ended up leaving town. A few days later, Wagner called to let me know they'd had an opening due to a project being completed ahead of schedule. They met a neighbor and inspected the issue well before the original date.

Although they couldn't eliminate the issue at that point, they kicked it around and, again, before the initial date they kicked it around and found a cheap solution. So my problem was solved before my actual appointment.

There are still remaining issues, but that's a function of my older house. I will definitely tap them for the future work which I can now plan for, thanks to Wagner.

And yes, my house is livable again!

They are perfect! Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, and efficient. It was very difficult to find licensed, insured electricians that would do a relatively small (just over $2,000) job in this area, and they exceeded my expectations. I felt comfortable with them as well, and that is not always easy when there are 3 strangers in every area of your house all day. I definitely recommend them without hesitation.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. Stay far away! They called me to set up an appointment and gave me a 2 hour window. I was told that I would receive a call when they were on their way. Never got a call. They never came. I called and said what's gives and they said, oh yeah he got tied up (but apparently they just didn't bother to let me know that they weren't coming anymore). These folks don't care about you or your time. The woman on the phone made it sound like she had no idea why someone would be upset who got stood up by the people they called to help with an emergent electrical situation. Best to go somewhere else.

My wife and I lost power to the house because our main breaker blew. It is an older part that is hard to get. The first lady we talked to was rude and said there was nothing they could do until the 26th. The next time we called, they sent Aaron out to look for a part for us and he was amazing. We just happened to get lucky and have an old buddy happen to have it, so he came over and installed it. (He is a licensed electrician as well.)

Even though Wagner never physically got to come by, Aaron was fantastic going out on a Sunday before a holiday which we will pay him for his time.

Only reason this review is not 5 stars is because of the first receptionist we talked to who said we were SOL.

The WORST experience!! We had them out a few times for our remodel and had already paid them a lot of money. They would not make appointments to get the job done; every appointment we had to wait another 6 weeks. One day they brought 2 men out and claimed they had to chase down a back feed into the panel because it was a danger..spent all day in our attic (it is completely empty up there and there are only 2 wires) only to come down without finding back feed; now said it was not a big deal but still want to be paid for all day accomplishing nothing. One of the TWO men sent out for this non was an apprentice and his rate was only $10 less than the journeyman rate. Also had two pros come out to install our ceiling fans; spent a good deal of paid time calling fan company, going over how the switches would work, was told no problem. Ordered switches as requested. When The journeyman came back to install the fan it was a different story; spent hours on the phone with fan company, suddenly switches wouldn't work at all the way we wanted them to; before leaving he told us there was no way to balance the fans correctly and they would wobble when on. We called the owner of Wagner Electric and explained these issues and how we felt we had paid them enough and shouldn't be charged for their incredible wasting of time and mistakes; he said he would get back to us but we just received an unchanged invoice in the mail. Now, months later, right after we've been though the fire here (we're off Muletown) he's taking US to small claims court. AVOID THIS COMPANY
