I am a real estate agent, and whenever one of my clients needs electrician Don Wade is the first company I recommend. Their work is excellent, they are fast, and they charge a reasonable rate. I have used them hundreds of times over the last 15 years and they have always played it strait with me. Cannot recommend them enough.

Way too prices. Average electrician hourly rate ~$90, they charge $125 and there is no difference on how difficult or simple the job is.

I bet you can find better electrician with lower rate on HomeAdvisor or similar website.

i will give 'Don Wade' zero star if yelp has such rating.

Similar situation as Karen stated below, Mr Wade sent in electrician, switched the plug, light on and he left in 20min. next thing is $195 bill. When i tried to talk to Mr Wade about the charge, he is rude and unreasonable.

i said his charge is too high for 20min stopping by, and Mr Wade responded that i must pay for his service or he will send a professional collector.

is this a Mafia threatening message?

in addition, they didn't mention about their rate at all when we contact them and how can they be HOA recommended electrician?!!!

Recent purchase of a home. Many electrical issues to deal with. Contacted Don Wade Electric on the recommendation of another electrical contractor.
First phase was to scope the work; second phase - on another day - was to perform the work.. Jeff Wade, company foreman, is a true professional. He kept his appointment committments. He works efficiently and quickly. In summary, I am very pleased with the work performed by Don Wade & Son Electric.

hate to be so negative..... but the man hanging my light fixtures had to do it two times on two lamps because he didn't do it right the first time, and then he charged me for the full time. And then when I called them back to rehang on of them done at my daughters house (becasue I wasn't satisfied) they wouldn't come back. And they were expensive (I thought), so when I needed more help I didn't call them back.

I'm giving this company two stars only because I was satisfied with one job they did for my family in the past. This time I called them because two different backyard timers had shorted out and the landscaper felt it was an electrical problem (he was right). Don Wade sent an electrician out who merely plugged something into the outdoor outlet and said, ""Yup, you have electricity"", and left. My landscaper installed a third timer which shorted out in a couple of days. The problem was water from the irrigation was getting into the outlet and causing the GFI to trip which in turn shorted out the timers. I had to hire another electrician who finally diagnosed the root of the problem and fixed it for $185. Next thing I know I get a bill from Don Wade for $195. When I called to tell them I will not pay this bill because their guy did not solve the problem, the answer I got from Mr. Wade was, ""Well, we came out and I paid my electrician"". I assured him once again I will not pay this bill. From now on I'm using Voigt Electric.

i have used don wade electric for several yrs. their prices are comprable to other electricians, even lower in some cases. they are very prompt and courtiuos. they clean up after themselves. i have no complaints on their work or customer service when call to have some one come out.the office personel are very helpful when calling to book some one. they answer all question that you ask.

It was disappointing that they didn't wear boot covers when entering home and excuse it because ""it's a rental"". Left a mess of paint chips all over work area. A little courtesy goes a long way.

We cannot speak highly enough about Don Wade Electric....Jeff is the friendliest fellow & very hardworking & reliable.
It is nice to let someone get on with things...& it's great to be able to trust someone when working around your home!
No job is too difficult for Jeff either.....we have certainly tested & can approve of his creativeness when it comes to outdoor lighting :-)
