Sadly, the company representative that provided service to us engaged in what I believe is unethical behavior. Specifically, we contracted with this company, and a gentleman named Varta came out to provide us with service. We had agreed that he would install 9 new outlets and that he would complete all the patch work required on the walls after the outlets were installed. I specified to him that this was part of the service that I required and he agreed. We had also agreed on a set price. After he completed the work, in which he did install the agreed upon number of outlets, he said he was done and was ready to leave. I reminded him that he first needed to patch up the holes in the wall as we had agreed to prior to my agreeing to have him do the work. Incredibly, he said that he was an electrician, he doesn't do patch work. I once again reminded him that this was a condition of his employment and he had agreed. He simply held to his, what appeared to be, rehearsed mantra that he is an electrician and doesn't do patchwork. by that point I was frustrated and just wanted him to leave. When we talked payment he then hiked up the price by $100.00. I reminded him that we had already agreed on a set price and wrote him a check for our agreed to amount. He then left leaving me with 9 unplugged holes in my walls. This constitutes highly unethical behavior. I would not recommend him to anyone.
