I found this service person on Yelp because he had good reviews. I met Mr. Garcia once and he seemed to be respectful and professional. I asked him to give me a quote to install a bathroom ceiling fan and heat lamp. He knew I had a tenant and would need to check with her to make sure of the labor time needed to do the job. The person who texted me today was very rude and disrespectful. They did not sound like Mr. Garcia . I was sent a quote for labor and parts . I told them by text that I would need to get a second quote at least. The response was never mind and I am no longer available for the job. Earlier they said they could do the three hour job today but then said they were too busy to do it period. . As a landlady, I have to check if it is convenient with my tenants first before scheduling any service work of course . Mr, Garcia did not sound like the person who texted me today . Whoever they were will indeed hurt his business . For this reason, I do not recommend this business. No one should be pushy and rude to others . I am writing this today to give a heads up to others who are searching the internet for a reliable service person . This company was neither reliable nor respectful of the customer today and this might happen to you.

Was visiting my aunt out in Camarillo to help her transform her backyard into more of a lounge space, especially with summer coming in. I noticed a lot of the outlets in the backyard weren't working. I don't know the first thing about wiring or solving electrical issues, so we reached out to Volts to have our problem serviced. Very satisfied with our experience. Several months in, and my remote-controlled driveway gate is just as smooth in operation now as it was when Ponciano first revealed the finished product to me! This particular home improvement project was my first time entrusting an independent contractor as opposed to a big name/brand company (and my satisfactory DIY-self), so believe me when I say that all the associated risk, apprehension, and unease were certainly present during the initial stages of design and construction; nevertheless, I gave the guy a shot thanks to the recommendation provided to me by my co-worker who had attested to his exceptional work on her parents' driveway and garage... after all, even in our prevailing context of social media and various marketing platforms, word-of-mouth advertising is still as effective now as it was back in the day. I'd like to point out that my decision to hire Ponciano was a careful and methodical one as I first made sure to shop around, compare quotes, and schedule a handful of free on-site consultations before selecting his business as my top pick! What's more, shopping and supporting small businesses is something I've been trying to make a habit of as it is truly compounded with an overall feel-good sentiment.

Now, as much as I'd like to go into technical detail about his blueprint and the materials/supplies used, I am neither a specialist nor well-versed in the topic to have even the slightest idea of how to initiate meaningful dialogue regarding it... I mean, that's why I hired him lol. With this said, I gave Ponciano free rein over the entire project. From physical dimensions to automation to curb appeal, my innate wariness quickly dissipated with every conversation I had with him, be it in-person, over-the-phone, or via e-mail (...I want to highlight this as a PLUS as different channels of communication are better when conveying different things). Right off the bat, it was clear to me that he was knowledgeable about his craft and competent in his line work, and what made working with him an absolute joy was recognizing:

1) how incredibly patient and polite he was in making sure I understood and was comfortable with his stepwise game plan,
2) how humbly receptive he was to my own input throughout the entire process, and
3) how admirably self-reliant he was at managing every facet of the renovation enterprise from start to finish--no outsourcing whatsoever!

All in all, Ponciano's expertise, enthusiasm, availability, affordability, and commitment were unmatched. I have already recommended him to my own family and friends and will definitely use him for my next projected venture--converting my manual garage door to an electric one!
