We contacted Dennis of Volts Electric early on July 19 to have an EV charger installed. We sent $600 via Zelle immediately after contacting him to have permit pulled for this work. This advance payment was half of the quoted estimate even though the work had not been started. Dennis mentioned the work would be completed after he got the permit, but the install date was contingent upon when the permit was received. Since our new car could not be driven much until we got it charged, we found someone else who could give us a firm install date sooner at a much less expensive price. We contacted Dennis within a couple of hours of our initial call and asked him to cancel this work and refund our $600 advance payment ASAP. We have repeatedly asked for a refund which he said he would do when he could get around to it. We offered to pay $100 towards any work he initiated on the permit. We still have not received a refund even though the work was not done and was cancelled within a couple of hours of the initial request for completion of this work. Not a good experience.

$250 minimum for a service call is way overpriced !! He didn't say this upfront but swears he did. Beware!

If you want the best, hire the best. We were in such a pinch and Dennis saved the day, we could not thank him enough!

What a great company, they care about their customers, they are very responsive and professional.

I can't say enough about Volts Electric. They are the BEST! Background, I have a degree in Electrical Engineering, and have wired a couple of houses and garages. But I had a problem here, with an outlet no working.
On a Sunday, Dennis from Volts, called me and suggested a couple of idea to try. Sure enough, a novice electrician had wired two GFI outlet in series, and both had tripped.
I'm now back live, thanks to Dennis. Volts Electric will now be my goto electricians in the future!

I had a short circuit that was difficult to track down. Dennis was able to locate and remove the short. It took a couple of visits to finally solve the problem, but he stuck with it and got it done. He is a man of his word and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

Dennis was experienced, knowledgeable and skillful. He made repairs and addressed our concerns in our new ( old ) condo . There was no aspect of our electrical system that he was not on top of. Dennis provided excellent service. I had no hot water coming from water heater due to no electricity coming into it, and it was after 1:00pm on a Friday, of course. I frantically started dialing electricians, as I had no recommendations. No one answered, but one, that said no one could come for 10 Days!!! Finally Dennis answered the phone and assured me that he could be there that day, not on the weekend. He was knowledgeable, quick, and most of all, very courteous and friendly, along with fair pricing. I would never hesitate to call on him again.

I finally came across an electrician who is honest, competitively priced, and does the job correctly! Oh, and did I mention courteous? I needed an interloock installed on my breaker box and an outlet for my new generator. Very efficient and courteous through the process. I have more work in the future and I will call Dennis to do it. I am recommending him to all of my neighbors.
