We needed to install a new water heater. Contacted the company on Yelp. We were asked to send pictures of the job. No follow up after. Messages twice more. Was told by the owner that they would check with their electrician and follow up. Unfortunately crickets. Sorry, wish I could see what the reviews are talking about, but when you have to reach back repeatedly and don't get a response, that's poor customer service.

First and foremost I want to thank Tiffany and technician Luis for their high professionalism, customer service and punctuality. You definitely have to have these guys on your list of go-to/first-call vendors in your household and here is why:
1) They are extremely responsive, polite and pleasant to speak with! Tiffany was in touch with me both here on Yelp and over the phone. I never had to call twice due to no answer and I never had to wait for more than an hour to receive a response on Yelp.
2) They quoted me ahead of the visit (yes, I had to send some photos and general description of the problem). I had to pay %50 upfront which is very fair and Tiffany emailed the receipt to me immediately.
3) They came when they said they would! Technician Luis came right in between the promised time window and my electrical problem was fixed within 24-30 hours of our first contact! Tiffany was coordinating the visit and kept me posted on the ETA as well as following specific instructions I provided as I was not myself present at home.
4) Did I mention they're quick? My HOA is extremely strict about contractors and requires a COI. I sent the sample COI to Tiffany in my very first service/quote request and by the time we spoke on the phone she had it ready and on its way to my email!
5) Their pricing is fair. Right in the middle of what I received from a few other vendors. The only difference is that VOLTOM never asked me for my exact address first to see if they can try and upcharge me based on the neighborhood, never mentioned anything like ""we charge $xxx/hour, 2 hours minimum"" AND were quick to respond and assist me in need when other.

To summarize it all - my first experience was great and that matters a lot to me!

We had a great experience using Voltom. Tiffany was responsive from the get-go and they were able to complete the job in a timely manner. We had a chandelier installed with a dimmer, as well as a bunch of outlets updated. We felt pricing was fair and the technicians who came out were very respectful of our home, and also knowledgable. We wouldn't hesitate to use Voltom again.

I used them to add two recess lights above my artwotk and to add a dimer. I would recommend them to anyone. They came to my home for the estimate for free and did the job within 72 hours. Also, I made a change to my order and they happily went to home Depot to get the new part needed.
