This is an update from my review six months ago. I called Alex again because a light switch he had installed previously was acting erratically. He came by promptly when he said he would, inspected the switch and determined that it was defective. Since he had installed the original switch, he replaced it free of any charge, driving to two different hardware stores to make certain that he got the proper replacement. This is what standing behind your work looks like. I would recommend Alex to anyone who wants a conscientious electrician.

Alex did a great job trouble shooting my electrical wiring issue so I could install a new chandelier. It was not a straightforward solution so I appreciated his ingenuity in finding a solution to the wiring issue. He was able to crawl thru the attic space, find the problem and fix it!

Alex Ormeno, who is the owner of Volta Electric, is an excellent electrician. Alex recently worked on our home during our remodeling and addition, and he did an outstanding job. He handled extensive knob and tube wiring replacement plus the installation of new circuits and a panel with great skill and professionalism. He is very good at problem solving in these old houses. Alex also installed a Level 2 EV charger.

Alex is terrific! He has helped us with two projects - installation of new wiring for an attic fan setup, and setting up a level 2 EV charger for us. Alex provides straightforward estimates (and did not exceed them on either project), good value, and he places a real emphasis on safety. We were missing the cover for the junction box in the attic at the time he did the install, and he returned to put it in for no charge at a later point (and getting into that attic is not fun). Highly recommend Alex/Volta Electric!
