WOW! WOW! WOW!

My wife and I wanted/needed to have an EV charger installed, so we did quite a bit of research before committing to just any company. We chose Volt Tech Electric and feel we made the absolute BEST choice! With Volt, we got MUCH more than we bargained for... in a VERY GOOD WAY!

The owner, Ben (yes - THE OWNER himself), showed up and upon assessing the situation, he gave us much more information about our electrical panel than we expected! Additionally, he shared specifics about our wiring that we had NO idea about - THAT was truly WONDERFUL! He identified a few faulty fuses that he had in on-hand inventory and was able to change on the spot. He meticulously measured and arranged where the EV charger could/would most efficiently and effectively be installed... he determined the best method and direction to get to/from the installation position to/from the fuse box... he drilled for the EV cables, ran the cables through a sleeve, used very neat and tight plastic fittings for seamless appearance and a very compact footprint in our garage/on our garage wall... he installed the new fuses for the EV charger in the fuse box... fitted and marked them clearly in the fuse box... then on top of all that, if he's not OCD, Ben is just an extremely tidy man, who includes cleanliness as part of the job/customer service package as he left our fuse box and garage area installation site sparkling clean.

All of that is great by itself, however, Ben had also had an apprentice with him who was REALLY good. Ben treated the apprentice with such a great level of respect and integrity that I highly admired. I watched him coach and quiz the apprentice in a very encouraging way that I liked A LOT! In one scenario, he asked the apprentice which fuse he thought was needed and when the apprentice gave an answer, it sounded like a question. Ben talked him through the thought process so well that when he asked him to make the fuse size determination again, the apprentice gave his definitive answer that he ""confidently said with his chest"" - AND HE WAS RIGHT!!

All of this was completed at a price that I can't type here because with the volume of work done, the level of professionalism at which it was done, the precision and meticulousness that was used to get everything ""just right"" before closing/packing up, I just have to believe that Ben REALLY likes us to do all that for such a low price... you can tell him that I sent you, but don't tell him that I said he'd give YOU as great a price as he gave US! :-)

Ben and Adrian arrived to our home on time. They diagnosed the issues, showed us where all the problems were, and gave us a reasonable quote. They fixed it on the spot. They were quick and efficient, and all is well is our home again! Thanks for the efficiency and professionalism! Would definitely recommend them. I was using a space heater and caused the power to go out in a few rooms. I reached out to Volt the night before and the next afternoon, Fernando came by to take a look

I explained the situation and he gave me a quote upfront - no surprises or hidden fees. Super friendly and helpful, he even crawled in the attic to track down the problem. Turns out that's where the issue was. Yikes. Sorted it all out in under 2 hours. Fernando saved the day! Lesson learned: don't plug space heaters into extension cords.

Called Volt Tech Electric last year about installing an outdoor outlet and they gave us the most reasonable price. Fernando came out and was really nice and explained everything. He saw that we had a really old and outdated breaker box which is a fire hazard and recommended we get it replaced asap and gave us a quote and even worked with us for a payment plan since it was a big project. He redid the breaker box, installed the outdoor outlet and fixed some broken outlets, pretty much everything we needed.
After a year, one of the outlets stopped working even though the breaker was on. Fernando came out again to look at it and again he was very nice to work with. Solved our problem quickly and was very friendly. Would definitely go back to Volt Tech Electric for all our electrical needs and definitely recommend Fernando.

I tried installing my own smart light switches using Youtube but I messed up, there was a bunch of sparking and I got scared so I emergency dialed Volt Tech Electric for immediate help. They sent someone over immediately. Fernando had great communication and was very quick at fixing my light switch. He was exceedingly courteous through the whole process, I would definitely recommend this company!

The outlets in my kitchen had been having issues throughout the year but would typically start working after a reset on the outlets until...2/13 when all the outlets stopped working and even using the breaker didn't fix the issue. I received several quotes from different businesses on Yelp and decided to go with Volt Tech. They were prompt with communication and came first thing in the morning the next day. Both techs were knowledgeable and explained things as they troubleshooted to my fiancé, making sure we understood the issues and also their recommendations. We're so grateful that they took the time to do such a good job!

Needed a GFCI replaced. Ben came out within a couple of hours of calling. Ben assessed and showed me where the problem was from a past remodel. Ben and his assistant, Adrian, corrected the problem and addressed some other issues. Completed the project in a timely manner, within two hours, including patching the wall. They cleaned up when they were done and left the area spotless. Would definitely use them again.

My electricity went off at home and we couldn't get it on with the circuit breaker. I placed my request for service and was contacted by Ben immediately. He walked me through the process of resetting and I was able to get my electricity back on. I recommend this business as I was assisted in a very professional and friendly way.
